Last time I came to visit my father they had a different chef doing the recipes for the residents, I believe. Food was excellent. Sadly, I asked the staff about What had happened to the quality of the food since everything was mushy, bland and even the dishes were not properly cleaned. Apparently there is a new head chef now… no love, no flavor :(

If you're looking for a retirement community, Pilgrim Place is worth a visit. It's a place to retire yet be active and connected to local and global happenings. I've been here 12 years. I have about 300 friends, and we enjoy having lunch together and talking about what's really important. Taking part in activities at the neighboring Claremont Colleges keeps me feeling young. So many residents here have fantastic national and international experiences. We care for each other as we age with dignity.

My wife and I have loved living at Pilgrim Place since 2012 in a beautiful 1929 Spanish style house. More like a college campus than a retirement community, what makes this place is the people. Think of people who have mentored/inspired you by their creative and caring lives. That is the kind of community you will find at Pilgrim Place.

First time here for the festival I’ve heard about. Parking was full for blocks and were arrived at 10 when it opened. Bought a plant and some costume jewelry. A little spread out making for additional walking. Lots of water stations 😊

Great place for the whole family plus the boat and train rides are always a big hit! Kids get to learn and have fun at the same time. There are crafts, bazaars and baked goodies and food. They have it all.
