Staff is rude and disrespectful especially if you want to address some concerns. It's supposed to be a space for you and your love one's unfortunately it isn't. They really need to hire some professional staff who actually cares and love the job. Oh and I forgot to mention it's almost impossible to get a hold of someone when calling

Parklands is one of the worst places I been in. I hate that my grandmother was transported here. Roaches in the rooms, smells horrible when you walk inside. The lady at the desk acts like her job is hard and is rude. Three patients to a room what privacy is there for visitors. Very uncomfortable to be in and you can tell they don’t treat people good. Avoid at all cost if you can because if it was my choice this place should be closed down. Thank goodness my grandparents situation is temporary and she will be out soon because she pronounced would die in the hand of these careless individuals. My grandmother called for help and 20 minutes later someone comes. Ridiculous when that’s their only job to simply care and help patients.

Horrible place. Don’t let your people stay here, Belinda (social services manager) will lie to your face about getting anyone out of there or tell you what’s going on. Elliot the administration manager there? Also a liar, said he say he will help you out but he won’t. He will lead you so that whoever is staying there stays there. Madison the other administrator, also as bad Elliot. Will lie to you and your family about how your family member is doing or do anything to help them. Mind you these are the head people of the place. They just care about the money they get from patients. My mom stayed there, she was punched in the face. Looked like she hadn’t had a bath in months. Fingernails longer than long. Stolen phone, laptop charger. This place is HORRIBLE. smelt like cigarettes. All the nurses are just walking around on their phones while patients are laying lifeless in the hallway. This place needs a new administrator, new staff and more. There’s a reason why it’s rated 2.5. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE

Well I was a patient for 11 months this is December 4th 2025 I left there on November 30th because the staff would never help and when it came to stuff we needed they were always out of. I was in a room where the bathroom toilet stayed stopped up and they expected you to pee and poop on top of someone else's . I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to stay in that place.

I wouldn’t put my worst enemy in Parklands’s Care Center in Gainsville Florida. They are infested with roaches, they do not abide by state regulations, they don’t keep rooms clean or keep rooms stocked with what with basic things that the residents need, they Lose the residence personal things and don’t even try to find them. They rather just pay to have it replaced then have somebody look for it. My loved one woke up at night to a roach crawling on their face. They didn’t send my loved one out by Different times when they should have been sent out by ambulance to the hospital. After checking on their background, found out that they’ve had lawsuits against them and lost. The place should be bulldoze down and never allowed to cooperate again..
