About Ozark Riverview Manor

Ozark Riverview Manor is a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Ozark, Missouri with a licensed capacity of 90 residents. The community serves both assisted living and nursing home levels of care.

Family experiences at the facility are mixed. Positive reviews consistently praise nursing and caregiving staff as hardworking and responsive, with one family noting that assisted living staff "went WAY over and above" to support their mother's care. Food quality also receives positive mention. However, several families express serious concerns about chronic understaffing—particularly during night and early morning shifts—leading to delayed care and hygiene issues. One family reported their relative waiting 30–40 minutes with soiled briefs, raising concerns about residents unable to advocate for themselves. Cleanliness and housekeeping standards are another consistent friction point; while one reviewer acknowledged the facilities "show their age" but praised staff effort, others report ongoing sanitation failures and unpleasant odors.

Ozark Riverview Manor holds a 2.9 out of 5 rating across 32 Google reviews, reflecting the divided feedback. Families considering this community should weigh the reported dedication of nursing staff against documented concerns about facility maintenance and adequate staffing levels.

Ever since they hired a new manager in housekeeping, the facility has failed to meet sanitation requirements. And will continue to fail, because housekeeping staff is no longer a priority within this facility, Willow healthcare??? more like Willow health don't care.

READ THRU..When I first arrived the smell was over whelming, the facilities show their age. Not impressed. BUT the staff were outstanding And hustling never a complaint when asked to do something. Can't say enough how good they are. Lunch/dinner were great too! House keeping needs to step up their game. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My mom lived in the assisted living side of Riverview for 2 years and is now in the nursing home side. The staff at assisted living went WAY over and above typical assisted care so that my mom could stay there as long as possible before going to the nursing home. She was well cared for, always clean, her room spotless, and the residents were wonderful! Shout out to Nancy who does an amazing job! We could breath knowing she was in good hands. Now that mom has moved over to nursing care, we are still happy. There are some loving nurses there, and just because a nurse is gruff does not mean they aren't doing their job. This kind of care is very taxing and I commend them for being able to handle the dementia that was simply over our heads as family members. The location is excellent and I can wheel my mom along the riverside if I want. We are so thankful for Riverview and the relief they have given us in a very difficult season. I'll recommend them all day long!

This facility is way understaffed. The residents are not being properly cared for . Walked in and saw a resident that smelled like urine and appeared highly medicated. I won't be back.

If you love your loved one, just know this facility is always crucially under staffed, especially at night and early morning. One of our family members in rehab in 2025 said he had to go long periods of time, well over 30/40 minutes, with feces in his briefs and would burn so bad. My question is what about the residents who are unable to speak or advocate for themselves. A family member: "The state wouldn't allow railings on the bed because they had the right to fall." Another family member: "We had begged them to put rails on his bed because he was falling so much out of bed. But they said due to state regulations they weren't allowed to put railings on the beds anymore." Two of our other family members in LTC fell out of bed many, many times. In 2025, they BOTH fell out of bed, were on the floor, had stopped breathing, and were found but it was too late. They were already dead. One in early 2025, the other late on 2025. This is not a review out of brokenness or spite. A lawsuit won't bring them back. A review won't bring our brother or mother back. We are of course brokenhearted but this is a review hopefully you will not miss. I hope you will reconsider leaving your loved one unattended at this rehab & LTC facility, especially in quarantine. Things could have been different but they aren't and I pray they are for you and your loved ones.
