Overall I was happy with the services provided by Ocala Oaks Rehab. The Physical and occupational therapist were exceptional. The medical and care staff seemed overwhelmed at times and either need more staff or less responsibilities by function. The meals were more than adequate and my wife improved rapidly. If I could change anything, I would have wanted my wife up and dressed before I arrived between 10 and 11am. Issues were addressed quickly and thankfully my wife came home after a relatively short stay.

My wife’s aunt Barb has been at Ocala Oaks for about 5 months now. I highly recommend this facility. They have taken a sincere personal interest in caring for her and helping her to gain enough strength so that she is much more mobile now. They have been very responsive to our requests and even if she is eventually able to come home with one of us for a period of time we will certainly make Ocala Oaks our first call if she needs long term care again in the future.

I would give this place no stars if I could! My friends mom was here off and on for the last couple of months. She went from this "rehab" to the hospital for multiple infections and bed sores. When she was at the hospital (fell and broke her hip) she was doing well and in good spirits nurses have him plenty of updates but every time we would try and talk to her at the rehab she sounded drugged up no nurses gave him updates and was hardly moved that she has a bed sore the size of a dinner plate she, may become septic, crazy! She was a pretty healthy 80 year old until she fell and broke her hip and ended up at this so called "rehab" place.

The family of JH Fox was very happy with the care given by the staff at Ocala Oaks. All the services were great - OT, PT, aides, nurses, doctors, cafeteria staff, etc. We would also like to give a special thanks to Tami, Crystal, Runuka, Michelle (cleaning lady) and Vivek for taking extra good care of our family member. Would highly recommend.
