My 93 year old dad has spent the last year at Ocala Health and Rehab. The staff, Liz, Celia’s, Pamela, Jennifer, Christian, Mika and Jodi in the east wing have been amazing. Always so cheerful and caring even when sometimes Dad was not very happy. As a group they have seen, not just Dad, but his family when we were upset or scared. What an awesome group

My mom came here for rehab and had a very positive experience. The staff was extremely attentive and supportive. Crystal—what can I say—my mom absolutely loved her. She motivated my mom when she was feeling down and was always there to meet her needs. Imani was incredibly helpful and never once complained about assisting my mom; she made sure she had everything she needed at all times. Michael was kind and took excellent care of her. The therapy team played a huge role in getting my mom back on track and motivated her every step of the way. Overall, the staff was pleasant, answered all of my questions, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. I truly appreciate the care and compassion shown to my mom.

The abuse to the elderly here is out of control. The way they talk to them is so rude and intimidating and don’t change the patients for hours. Bathrooms are badly cleaned every 3 days. Food trays are bring to the rooms while the patient are sleeping and just leave it in there. Plus the CNA if you complained about it your relative pays the price of the abuse by neglecting them.

Let me start by saying it's a daunting task looking for somewhere for your loved ones to be cared for genuinely, especially the elder ones and give you peace of mind the Admin's here from the start made it a welcoming and warm environment, Mr. Tyler when I walked in his office big smile, had all the paperwork in order and was already briefed before we arrived from the hospital, tho he was a Seminole fan (gator here 🐊) I was able to overlook that lol due to his astounding character and professionalism, Mrs. Patty was amazing as well so it has been quite the journey 1 week at hospital and then walking into rehab, 1 month and half later my grandmother could barely walk to standing upright and walking, so from scares to relief from long nights and early mornings, the staff on the south wing was so attentive to her and their patients, everyone was always hustling and answering room bells and smiling, laughing and singing some were, and genuinely caring for their people, they put on big nice holiday events which the family was invited and encouraged to come, for Thanksgiving🦃, and Christmas🌲!. So I want to thank everybody involved, in her recovery her therapists April Dunbar and her team, Her nurses Camella and Lyanne and their team, CNA'S Daphne, Jessica, Megan and the rest of the south wing team! Her social worker Ms. Sarah, the behind the scenes family and friends, and extra special thank you to Ocala Health and Rehab again for taking care of my Grandmother and getting her physical health back. If you were questioning going because of something you may have heard in the past don't, just go see for yourself and least sit with the administration and take a tour. Ps. Sorry rest of crew I didn't get more pictures we still love you all.
