I am so sorry, but I cannot recommend this nursing home. Because of a great big misunderstanding, they told me they cannot accept my Mother there anymore. But it was NOT her fault. Plus, my Mother really did NOT like it there, but still....I heard that many people do NOT like it there, or at any other nursing home facility, but....That is NOT their place to refuse someone because of the faults of another....😰

Don’t bring your family up here please.my mom have bed sores She has a stomach ulcer and infection. They put a catheter on her and they got her on a whole bunch of depression pills. they dont want me to be guardianship over her.because they want my brother to be guardianship over her because he will leave her there to rot And they be lying .when she first got there I told them to put her in another nursing home.That’s closer to my house, They saying they trying to help me out and get the proper insurance that she need and call me a liar when I told her Detroit don’t really need all them insurance that they was asking for but they didn’t want to listen. They want to keep her there because they trying to get her money. Wait till I find a lawyer to smash all this. This place need to be closed down for real.

This “nursing home” is a disgrace! Let’s start off with their communication to the patients family… they wait until the last minute to call about any concerns, they aren’t thorough with follow up calls, and they “conveniently” “lose” or “don’t have” the phone number to reach out to. The numerous times we have visited our loved one, he was thin, skin was dry, and nails were long and had build up underneath them. They let an infection get out of control, he was not kept up well at all. The nurses attitudes did not make the situation any better. They are unprofessional and careless. When asked to take care of his nails and hair they told us we would have to bring in supplies and do it ourselves. The nursing home itself is run down.. should have known better! The condition inside and outside is subpar. It is not fit for anyone with health issues to be living there. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would..

This nursing home is terrible. My mom got bed sores that became septic and later died. I visited there it was elderly people sitting in there own feces and the staff allowed it to happen. I accidentally was given a patient record that had a decease. I wouldn’t wish this nasty place on anyone not even my enemy. If you can help it don’t let your love one go to the one in Ferndale, Mi if you have love ones that’s there please check on them….. you can tell they didn’t do rehabilitation or physical therapy she was so contracted and wounds was to her bones that had to be debried …. Again check on your love ones…hopefully the staff that work there in up just like they did her and the other elderly people 😕😠😡

Their Staff is very friendly they treated my mother excellent couldn't ask for a better place. At first I had my mother at Cambridge nursing home on 13 Dequindre that place is unfit for anybody to go to. When they moved my mother to Oakridge Manor. I heard a lot of bad things about this place but this is where my mother told me she wanted to go. And I'm glad I did their staff is excellent over there I recommend anybody that need to place to put anyone in your family that needs nursing care 24/ 7. I highly recommend this place.
