About Oakridge Healthcare Center

Oak Ridge has served the Roseville, California community since 1963 as a boutique, locally owned and operated skilled nursing facility. The center offers 67 five-star, Medicare-certified beds and is located minutes from both Sutter Roseville Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente Roseville Medical Center.

Residents have access to a rehabilitation team providing physical, occupational, speech, and IV therapy. The stated goal of this care is to help residents regain their health, independence, and quality of life to their highest ability.

Therapy programs include training in mobility, gait stability, ambulation, posture, and positioning, along with custom exercise programs designed to re-educate muscles and improve coordination. Specialty programming and technology support balance and fall prevention, while joint and soft tissue mobilization work to increase range of motion and manage contractures.

Speech and cognitive services focus on recovering speech, language, and memory skills, strengthening verbal and non-verbal communication (including for those with hearing impairment), and building oral muscle strength for speaking and swallowing. Additional programming addresses activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, eating, and grooming, with adaptive techniques and equipment to overcome physical disabilities. A therapeutic environment featuring a full kitchen, bathroom, and bed supports hands-on re-training for daily living skills.

Oak Ridge is licensed by the State of California and is an approved Medicare and Medi-Cal provider, with many services covered by various commercial insurance plans. The facility maintains a 5-star rating based on performance in quality of resident care, health and safety inspections, and staffing.

Horrible facility DO NOT put your loved ones here. Their health will decline, the onsite nurse Christina is very unprofessional and refused to bandage my grandfathers face after surgery because my name wasn’t on the call list. I watched my grandfather and his roommate get served their lunch with full urinals on their table tray and when they asked the Indian lady medical assistant if she would empty the urinal please she ignored both my grandfather and his roommate and set their food right next to full urinals. Ive made complaints with CDHC 2 times and nothing has been done. They put all Medi Cal patients at the very back and ignore them!

Everyone has been friendly caring and helpful. My father has been in other care centers and the care didn’t compare to oak ridge. Dad has been treated like a member of the family and I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you to all the staff.

My husband was admitted to Oak Ridge after surgery for recovery. When I walked in it was clean. The people were friendly the food that he was served for lunch was wonderful and the administrator took the time to talk to me about concerns that I had for my husband‘s care, it was the very professional Very enlightening visit. I would recommend Oak Ridge to anybody for their family. I also noticed that the caregivers talk to the patients that were in the hall and chairs, calling them by name, asking how they were and being friendly.

My mother was sent here from Sutter, back in Oct. However, i never took the time to write a post. When I first came I thought it was old & outdated & not very good. However, the staff was very good, especially, the PT staff. After leaving to be placed for private home setting she said she wanted to go back, because she liked the staff & they kept her on schedule for rehabilitation. My brother got released 5/8 from Sutter after a seizure. I requested he be sent here because of our mother's rating of the facility. My brother has only been there a day & I will be going tomorrow & will update this post.

My Mom has been at Oakridge healthcare center for 3 1/2 years and they have always taken very good care of her. Because they are a smaller facility, each resident gets more attention. They have made sure to keep me updated. They have called me when she has needed things. Mom is very happy there. They have acted quickly when necessary. They have given additional therapy when necessary. They feed her well. The administrators Jason and Michael are easy to interact with and the nurse Jessica is exceptional!
