My dad has been at Gracedale for a short period of time, so far, his experience has been positive. He has been in personal care for 5 years at another facility and in two different rehabs and I’ve never experienced the same level of communication that I am getting from Gracedale staff. They keep me updated about his care regularly. He states that the food is good. The staff that I’ve met are friendly and accommodating to his likes and needs.

I cannot say enough positive things about the care my father is receiving at this nursing home. From the moment he arrived, the staff has treated him with kindness, respect, and genuine compassion. It gives our family so much peace of mind knowing that he is in such good hands. The nurses and caregivers are attentive, patient, and truly go above and beyond to make sure his needs are met. They take the time to listen, engage with him, and make him feel comfortable and valued every single day. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. What means the most to us is how happy my father is—he often tells us how much he appreciates the staff and the care he receives. That alone speaks volumes. We are incredibly grateful to everyone here for the outstanding job they do. I would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and supportive environment for their loved one. 💚

Our family's experience with Gracedale Nursing Home was nothing short of exceptional. My father required short term rehab following a hospital stay and chose to go to Gracedale. I was apprehensive due to the negative perception that has long been associated with Gracedale. However, the entire team at this facility quickly eased all our concerns. The level of nursing care and compassion shown by the staff was truly outstanding. The staff and nurses (especially Nurse Katrina and the entire SW-1 team) treat the residents with dignity, patience, and genuine warmth. They were always responsive to any questions we had. It’s clear they view their job as a calling, not just a career. The facility itself is dated and could use some improvements, but don't let appearances deceive you. The care is top notch. The food service and quality of the food was better than many other local facilities. There was a good variety of healthy foods available. There were daily recreational activities available. My father chose not to participate in those activities, but many residents did. In addition to activities, there is a beauty shop, cafe, gift shop, pool table, fish tank, library with computer access, and many outdoor spaces for sitting. Our family has had experience with many of the nursing homes in the Easton area and I can honestly say that Gracedale was the best. If you are looking for a place where your loved one will be safe, comfortable, and truly cared for, we recommend Gracedale without any reservation.

I’m not sure why Grace still doesn’t have a higher rating, maybe it’s because people just like to complain. But my older brother has been there for rehab after becoming a double amputee. And sadly, his condition has seriously turned and now we’re looking at his last days. He’s on the eighth floor and the staff there are absolutely wonderful. They’re kind and caring and they call me constantly with updates. They actually really seem to care. It’s a county facility. I don’t know what some people might be expecting . I find them top-notch because what you want most for your loved ones is caring and compassion and that’s what I find from these people! not only that someone I grew up who worked there all his life, George Makoul, he was a staple there. Everybody knew him he told me he never would let someone die alone. He knew that when they were coming down to their last time, he would stay with them even if it was after his shift or hours sadly, the good Lord took him a few years ago. I wish he were still there so I knew someone would be there with my brother. But I’m very confident in the caring staff that’s there.

If I could give a zero I would, a family member was sent here from the hospital, they did not even make it 23 hours before they were put back into the hospital, let fall three times fractured ribs, stitches cut scraped bruises all over them. This is unacceptable! Was told by staff they find the residents after they fall and they receive their medicine sometimes but rarely on time! Disgrace
