Everyone here is awesome. Especially Pinkee. She is absolutely fantastic. She had answers to everything and more. The care they gave my dad was wonderful. They were very patient with him. He was always kept very clean. I would definitely recommend North Park Post-Acute for anyone looking for a rehab.

The RN and CNA and PT and OT staff has been 95% caring and compassionate. if you have a rarer condition like me this may not be the best place for you. my complaint is about the business end of things. they push you to sign things when you are foggy and under heavy medication and when you refuse they don't bother to hide their upset with you. if you want to file an appeal when try to push you out before you believe you are capable i was "threatened" with comments like "you are going to have to pay the entire bill", (not true actually it's a copay and is a you may have to pay it) and i was told<br>" i only had till 9am to file my appeal tomorrow", it was 3:30pm, "or it will be too late", later in conversation she changed it to "don't go past 12 noon or.... " (not true you have 48 hours) another i was told was "the hospital lied to me, they don't read the small print" when i questioned the time 10-12 days. (the hospital said up to 20 days and they projected i would be here 12-14 days). lastly and i'll be quiet was when i asked about calling the San Joaquin obusman (not sure how to spell) i was told "don't call him that he won't help you." ( i'm not sure yet if true or not but the after hours said they take complaints, hum) this was all said to me by the social worker.

I have truly enjoyed my stay here at North Park. The staff are great, very attentive and check in. The food is good also. The therapy team help me get stronger.

I'm giving this a place a 1 star review because I was told by kaiser manteca he would not be there no longer than a week giving him physical therapy after a compression fracture to L2-L4. He was there for 12 days and was sent home pretty much in a wheelchair. The therapy was given maybe 20 to 30 minutes and then back to his room, never going back to get him up walking with a walker over more physical therapy. I'm very disappointed in this facility. I was told he would be fine and up walking in a week. Not true. Do not trust this facility with your loved ones.

My review is very mixed. My mother had some amazing nurses, wonderful physical therapist and a great social worker. In general, I felt the place was horribly understaffed. So I can’t blame the staff. What i absolutely did not like and was constantly battling was the environment. I would show up in the morning and there would be four wheel chairs and other equipment in her room like it was storage area. Her stuff like water, phone, etc were out of reach. The environment was not conducive of recovery. It seem more a place of no hope and place to die. I would not take my mother there again.
