The time my grandmother spent at NHC was full of special moments. The facility is cozy and has a lot of good activities like piano and musical performances that were so important for my grandmother. I want to especially thank our CNA Raelynn Gates for going above and beyond in making my grandmother feel comforted and like her own grandmother. She will be a fabulous nurse someday. Jennifer Chenoweth was another wonderful resource for my family and made a lasting impact on our lives. Our PTA Sydney helped keep my grandmother safe, mobile, entertained, and giggling which is so so appreciated. My only complaint is the lack of effective bed alarms that are especially needed for highly mobile dementia patients. I hope NHC can take steps to ensure safe staffing, education, and the resources staff need to support them in safely caring for our loved ones. I am an RN myself and the expectations placed on nursing and support staff are sometimes humanly impossible to do. I hope the CEOs recognize the amazing staff they have and the life changing care they give and keep educating and paying these special people what they deserve.

Highly displeased with the “treatment” of my mother at NHC. I will keep this limited but my mother called me this morning wanting to be AMA’d from this place. Thank you NHC, you did a swell job rehabilitating her; she is worse off than when she arrived over a month and half ago to you. Thank god I pulled her out today because I truly feel she wouldn’t be seeing daylight tomorrow if I hadn’t taken the measures I did. Also, two days after she arrived at NHC they had a Covid outbreak…real comforting leaving your family member there.

Penn and his team are great partners and very easy to work with. As a Hospice Partner, we are very pleased with the regular communication and support we get from his team. Penn makes his residents a priority and is always available to discuss any concerns we have.

My father is a resident at this facility. He has gone days without a bath, and when employees are probed, the answer as to why he has gone without a bath is he's refused. My father was just dropped OUT OF A LIFT today (07/08/2023) by one of the techs because she did not have the lift adequately secured. My father informed her that the lift was not properly fastened or secured, and she proceeded to lift him with it anyways, and he was not taken to the emergency room for evaluation. They have him in the bed. Dried blood is still on his person; I have pictures of all the nastiness from not being bathed and today's incident, and I will contact a lawyer. I only give it 1 star because it wouldn't let me post without a star.

My aunt was a resident at NHC Tullahoma for 3 years and my mom has been in and out of rehab here several times. The staff here are very caring and committed to their jobs. They took excellent care of my family and even helped in saving my mom's life. The center is clean and inviting. They put a lot of hard work in to keeping the environment pleasant. I felt confident in the care and treatment my family received. We will defiantly return to NHC again.
