Today’s experience was atrocious. My mother needed to get into a facility and unfortunately a bed was not available. That wasn’t the issue when I arrived at the site with opening hours of 9am -9pm no one was at the desk to let us in. When we entered the facility I asked to speak to the director the woman who help was rude she told us there’s no bed available. When I asked for her name and she responded WHY? And I responded so I know who I’m speaking to and she responded you’re rude. I was shocked 😳 wow this is how you speak to people.

My sister went today to see about getting bed for my mom and the lady working there was rude. When my sister asked for her name she wouldn't give it to her and my sister wanted a visit of the place mom was going to be at if and when a bed was available. If they treated my sister that way it makes me think how they treat the elderly people there who depend on them.

This facility is probably the oldest running long term care community in LB. They have a smaller size SNF that’s part of a larger non-profit corp that also has assisted living with a memory care wing. The facility is on the older side, and not updated like others may be, but everyone knows the most important thing is the care, not how new the flooring is. The staff are all very caring and you can see it in the way they talk to residents, walking down the halls you’ll hear residents and staffing saying “I love you honey” and “love you too Mrs ___!!” There is a feeling of home here. The activities staff love their residents and try to have a variety available. The temporary SNF administrator has been here for nearly a year now waiting on one of the staff to get licensed, he has over 50 years of experience and you can tell he loves doing what he does and surely will be passing all his knowledge to the new admin. The assisted living side is spacious with rooms in 4 different wings, one being a dedicated memory care. There is a beautiful center patio with a water fountain to enjoy when the weather is nice. They have religious services on site in the chapel and combined special events for RCFE and SNF. Each time I have come, the residents are clean and happy, the food (including snacks) look and smell appetizing, the facility is always clean and staff are always smiling. Couldn’t ask for more!

This place is a joke. The supervisor let's the caregivers abuse the residents. The sisters don't do anything but answer phones and pass mail out. The supervisor covers up falls and incident reports... do not send your loved ones here please!!! They have ants and roaches. If you have family there take them out

This is a big complex, run by Catholic Franciscan Hospitaller Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, for the elderly with three specific units: Skilled Nursing (SNF), Memory Care, and Residential Care Community (RCFE). It has also a Chapel where there is Mass some days of the week and daily Rosary in the afternoon. The rooms are individual, with private WC, bath, closet and TV, in all three sections; but there are some shared rooms, with private WCs, in the SNF section. The hallways of the RCFE are wide and long, great to do physical exercise going around; alternatively, they can use the exercise spaces with appropriate equipment for the older adults residing at New Bethany Community. There is physical and speech therapy spaces in the SNF, as well as daily activities in the big auditorium in the RCFE area, open also to the SNF residents who want to participate. In all three units, the meals are taken in their common dinning rooms (except if someone needs to take them in their private rooms). Each of the four wings of the RCFE has a parlor where residents can meet and chat with other residents, as well as enjoy the company of their friends and visitors in practically private ambiance. They offer free transportation in town. The residents can also put private phone lines in their rooms. The prices are attractive compared with others in the area. A great place to entrust your parents or friends of advanced age, giving you at the same time considerable peace of mind. Recommendable!
