My father had a stroke. For rehab, he went to Neighbors of Dunn County. The building has deferred maintenance, undoubtedly due to tight county budgets and payor mix. The care is excellent. Licensed staff are knowledgeable, experienced, and kind. CNAs are, too, and CNA staffing seems stable and consistent. The facility social worker was knowledgeable and experienced. She helped my family work through some unusual issues related to my father's care. Communication with family was excellent. There are limited choices for health care of all kinds in northwestern Wisconsin. My family was very grateful for Neighbors of Dunn County's care of my father.

My friend complained about pain in her side for weeks and no one would listen to her. So I went out there and we called the ambulance to get some help of why she is having all this pain. Cat scan showed 4 broken ribs. How can that happen in there care. They will blame her. I think they better check of the workers they have working there. Shady bunch of workers. They call the patients liers. And everything is the patients fault. Don't trust these people with a dead rat.

Long term staff were kind, considerate and respectful to my father. They tried all that they could to help him through therapy and when that didn’t work they transitioned well to hospice and were helpful to us along the way. We were happy we found neighbors of Dunn county.

My Mother joined The "Neighbors Memory care facility" when we were no-longer able to meet her special needs at home. (This was a hard decision for our family to make.) The Directors and the Staff that cared for my mother were amazing! They always made us feel welcome whenever we would visit or call, and Mom was comfortable, happy, and loved the people taking care of her. 🥰

A five star rating goes to the entire dedicated staff of professionals at The Neighbors of Dunn County! They were outstanding caregivers of our mother. Especially The Eventide Neighborhood who treated her with complete dignity and respect while meeting her needs. Your job is a hard one, demanding special qualities while you care for the frail and elderly. Thank you for your commitment!
