A week after a CT scan and STILL no results. Was told it could be up to 2 weeks. How is that acceptable to leave people suffering because you can't be bothered to hire more people? Back before Munson took over I used to get radiology reports back the same day or the next day at the latest.

When I had my child here everything was fine until it came to paperwork. The night nurse kept pushing for us to fill out the paperwork, kept waking me up to try and push me to sign the paperwork. I understand it had to get done as soon as possible but that nurse couldn't just wait until morning. So me being exhausted just signs. I filled the papers out. I don't have poor handwriting. I had tried calling to get it figured out. "We will write a letter." What should have happened is that they figured it out. They didn't. So my child just doesn't have the name we chose. Not to mention one of the same night nurses put the blood pressure cuff on the arm I had an IV in and said "we don't normally do this". Not too much long later the cuff would go off and I saw bubbles around the IV in my arm. I called the nurse back in and she said "I can take that off for you" Like duh? So, long story short. I don't recommend this hospital if you're even constipated. Go somewhere else. Our day nurses were amazing. It was the night nurses. I should have made this review sooner, I was just embarrassed that a nurse had pretty much just made up my childs last name.

Not our first experience either.. “Not quite sure what happens at OMH.. Got there approximately 6pm after trying three nitro’s & three baby aspirin no comfort. Yes they were busy and props they took him back right away. Hooked him up to monitors, did an EKG, blood draw which they always start with. Bill has had heart issues for over twenty years and has been to the so ER many times I’ve lost count at this point. He only goes when his pain is intolerable and can’t get it under control on his own. With that being said he is not happy go lucky, pretty irritable until they get his pain under control. They honestly treat him like he’s just a junkie coming in trying to get pain meds, again I realize they are busy, but laying there for over an hour and a half, moaning he’d rather just die. Pain in his chest, back, up the side of his neck, under his tongue, and teeth, after over 20 years he knows and I’m 99% sure there is info in his chart or on the computer… what usually works for him. At least go back in and check to see how the patient is doing cause if you would have came back in you would’ve seen that the little pulse gadget was not doing it’s job because it was laying on the floor. You would’ve also noticed that after the lab tech came in to draw blood that he was bleeding all over the floor and he had forgotten to re-hook the blood pressure cup back on his arm, and your patient wasn’t even given a call button, OK maybe you wouldn’t have even notice… I don’t know. Usually, they check his lab work twice which roughly takes about five hours and if it’s OK, then they send him home. So to see the lab tech come back in and say they are going to do a third draw after 10 PM we knew it was gonna be after midnight when they came in with the results. Sure enough Dr comes in after midnight and says she doesn’t like the results and they are going to send him to TC. I went home figuring he won’t even get set up in a room over there until at least 3am. Imagine to my surprise when I called over to TC at 7am I was transferred back to OMH he hadn’t been transferred. Sometime around 5 pm was his transfer!!!”

I had a minor yet extremely painful injury that possibly could’ve been more serious than it looked. They got me in right away, got me stabilized, took great care of me and were very patient and professional. I knew I was in good hands. Nothing but good things to say about the team. Highly recommended.

Most of my 4 day experience in this hospital was good. I had good nurses 95% of the time. The first nurse i dealt with in the E.R. wouldn't listen when I told her my IV hurt bad she put it in wrong. Had a different nurse change it out. As for the other bad experience was the nurse I had one night she has a nasty attitude. My last complaint os of people cant visit after 8 then I shouldn't have to listen to someone's very loud tv down the hall.
