I came into Mount Carmel home to rehab a knee revision, an infection in my lower spine that has caused paralysis in my legs, and an abscess in my tooth. The care and treatment that I have received here is unbelievable! The staff treat me like family and I appreciate that very much. I would recommend Mount Carmel to anyone! Tom Roeder

I used to be hesitant about sending any of my loved ones to a nursing home. Always hearing horrible stories about abuse and neglect. Mount Carmel, is one of THE best nursing homes and takes AMAZING care of their residents. We needed a place for my grandma at the time and heard so many good things about their facility. They took such good care of her up to the very end. Very patient, caring, and have so much compassion. When I would leave after visiting with her. I had no worry about leaving her there. Thank you Mount Carmel for taking such good care of her. I recommend them to any person looking for somewhere to care for their loved one.

I can’t give them enough praise. My Mom was a resident here and passed away here. The staff was wonderful, very caring and kind to her and us. They are also very well staffed which is unusual these days. We knew nothing about this place when we placed Mom here, just some word of mouth recommendations from 2-3 people which was kinda scary but we just couldn’t have been happier with her care. I have recommended Mt. Carmel to several people and will continue to do so. Also the last few days when it was clear she was in the dying phase they brought us what they called a “Comfort Cart” it was refreshed every day, had water, coffee, all sorts of snacks and fruit. It was wonderful as we were trying not to leave her. Everyone was just outstanding, can’t thank them enough!!

We love this sweet little facility. We have visited there several times and it is evident that the residents are loved and well cared for. They have just completed the remodel of the activity room and it is gorgeous. The staff is top notch and very devoted to the residents. The on-sight day care is wonderful and the kids frequently do activities with the residents. Mount Carmel won the Best of Kearney award last year and it is a well deserved award. They truly are the best facility in Kearney.
