These people kept me from attending the memorial service of my mother who I cared for at their substandard facility for five years.lied about me 'having an altercation' with their supposed general manager who would not get off her phone or her chair to assist me with my mother in 95 degree heat as we returned from the emergency room!She did not even know my name although I had been out there each and every day for the two years she had been working there! Mom's apartment was @4k a month. Doors off the hinges,people in and out of the place with their keys whenever they felt like it. They actually thought I was my sister when I arrived at the office to discuss her moving into assisted living. Would not even let her go lay down in her own paid for apartment. Lied about me being told I could no longer come onto the property afterwards! Her apartment stayed empty with people going in and out of it while her things and mine were in there for a month! They actually thought I come to find out they did not help me while my mom was falling out onto the hot pavement of their turnaround (urine and feces running down her leg and 95 degrees out!) because they were afraid of me taking legal action! Covered it up by lying to me and everyone else. I went out to get my things one night a few days later. I come to find out (a couple months later!) that I was not allowed to attend her memorial service OR come back out there because of an 'altercation with a staff member '! That staff member is no longer there as of two months after this occurred! No apology,no anything. I wonder if Stacy was at my own mother's memorial service? Shame on you whoever the owners are. My sister is Jody and I am Josie. She is in Portland. I was HERE for five years. They do not even know who their resident's families are. There are over 500 residents there. Towards the end they actually charged my sweet little mommy $7 to bring her meal from the dining room! She had Parkinson's and was known as the 'The Hat Lady~ Corrina Gastineau was her name! She was much more than a NUMBER and 4k a month! You should have paid to have HER live there! Instead you steal from our hard working and sweet helpless elderly parents. The not knowing my name was the cherry on top.They should not be getting away with neglect and lies.Shame in you My Angel Towers.But hey,it's all about the mighty dollar! Especially with this place.

Half of the people that work at the front desk are so rude and cannot be bothered for a second, even to say hello and its the same few people every time. I visit a family member here and this is what I see often. Would it kill your staff to to be sweet to customers and their families who pay thousands of dollars a month to live here?

My parents have lived at The Towers for the last six years, and it's been a really wonderful experience for them, and for our entire family. The staff are caring, dependable and fun-loving, and foster a very inclusive and family-like atmosphere. The food is good, with many choices, and the activities vary widely. I really love the connection between the community of Mount Angel and The Towers residents. Towers residents enjoy special delivery service by the library, host a community Easter Egg Hunt, participate in the July 4th Parade, and have various supportive interactions between residents and Fire and Police services. The Mount Angel Towers Senior Community been a real blessing to our family.

I just returned from a visit to my mom who lives in the independent living section. She has been there for a couple of years now. It's such a wonderful welcoming place. She is very active in the many activities they offer. While I was there, I played a couple types of bingo, trivia, beanbag baseball (my mom is on their team) and there was so much more. The staff and food was excellent. The activities director, wait staff in the dining room, maintenance and housekeeping and everyone else went above and beyond. As my mom says "the residents are like family now". What struck me is the residents always seemed so upbeat and happy. Many are scooters, walkers, etc. Some are nearly deaf and many have vision problems but everyone lifts up their neighbor, so they are living their best lives. *The pictures attached are of a beanbag baseball tournament while I was there. Three other retirement facilities sent their teams to play. One game in the morning and The Towers provided lunch for everyone, followed by a second game after lunch. What fun!

January 2021 will start our 8th year living here at the Towers. We feel safe and secure here. Being retired from farming and a building contractor business having something to do was very important. The woodshop and garden area was a huge factor in our decision choosing the Towers to be our new home. We were also impressed with the spirit of the residents and employees, activities offered and the beautiful grounds.
