Mountain View it’s a great place to go when you need the special help that I needed to be able to recuperate from a serious injury. Alexa and Her staff of nurses are first class professionals With a ton of compassion for the individual. The CNAs on the floor are well mannered and very helpful / attentive to needs without being intrusive. The physical therapy team members really know their stuff. They will push you just enough in just the right way so that you can return to the “you” that you know you can be. Up front, the administrators are very patient and do their work with excellence in mind. If your circumstances require you to be away from home to get the care that you need, Mountain View is the place where you want to go.

My sweet niece has terminal cancer and is in hospice at this facility. She has settled in a bit now and loves all of the kind hearted and efficient staff members there. There are a lot of activities for them, a market of sorts that operates on earned tickets, day to day needs are met promptly, plus little gathering spots are available for visiting. It is a nice, clean, facility and the grounds are well kept. Her only gripe is that the meals are so so.

I cannot say enough good things about the team at Mountain View Care Center. From the moment our loved one arrived, the staff demonstrated an incredible level of compassion, professionalism, and attentiveness. Every department — from nursing and therapy to administration and support staff — worked together to make sure our family member was comfortable, respected, and receiving the best care possible. The nurses and caregivers were always patient, kind, and responsive, taking the time to answer questions and keep our family informed. The therapy team was outstanding and truly focused on helping our loved one regain strength and independence. Even the small details, like the cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness of everyone we encountered, made a huge difference.

Mountain View Care Center, a Resident's Perspective: by Govenor Alf Taylor I came to Mountain View to recuperate from hip surgery from the VA Hospital. I was greeted by a host of doctors, nurses, CNAs and escorted to a spic-n-span room with fresh linens and a nice bed. My timing was fortuitus. Because I was also greeted with a tray of baked chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans with side dish of sliced peaches. Yummy! My first thought was, I hope they never ask me to leave. The dining area is used for many purposes. From Karaoke to Bingo, even church services. Two days a week they have complimentary movies, complete with popcorn and soft drinks. Behind the closed doors are a group of angels preparing delicious bill of fare of endless design. This is especially important to me because I grew up in a family of 12 children where when we left the table, that's all we left, was the table. My social proclivities are easily satisfied by the array of other hall strollers anxiously gossiping about various subjects, ranging from where they come from, to their ailments. There is a refreshment room for those wanting a soft drink or a pack of cookies. A little sunshine is required; there's an excellent patio for strolling the grounds. There's an activity center for those needing a coffee boost or wanting to catch up on the local periodicals. There's an excellent library of books, where they don't have a late charge. This center is governed by Elizabeth Soroka who is in charge of organizing and posting all the upcoming activities. This woman has so much on her plate, they should give her a platter. Elizabeth is always helpful with anything that a resident needs. As a matter of fact, she's writing this letter as I dictate to her. To not love Elizabeth is to not know her. I can go on and on about this place. But it's just about lunch time. I leave you with one thought; I hope they never ask me to leave. With Love and Gratitude, Alfie, The Gov Taylor
