I would not send my dog to this place! If it weren’t for Gretchen, who was an angel, I have nothing good to say about this home. You never see the doctor, and they lie to you straight to your face!

This is a well-maintained, compassionate nursing home. It’s connected to an apartment complex for independent living, along with nearby cottages and houses that help seniors stay close to support when needed. A big plus is their home care services, which extend across multiple counties.

My mother has been at the Village at Morrison’s Cove since April and she has had the best care. The therapy department has been wonderful and really good at motivating my mother. All of the staff of have been fantastic and my mom feels like she is genuinely cared for there. I’m very grateful for the care she receives there daily!

My dad was at another nursing home to recover from a fall at home. We moved him from there to the nursing home at The Village of Morrison's Cove in June of 2019. We consider finding the Cove as a blessed gift of our Heavenly Father!! The nursing home was so much better than the one we moved him from which was not bad but compared to the Cove, the difference was night and day! They took great care of my dad from serving food he loved to eat to offering so many opportunities to connect with peers at the Village to various entertainment and even Sunday morning church services. They have so many "places" family can take their loved ones from the back porch with beautiful flower beds to large rooms where residents can gather to play games to a lovely exterior where I often took my dad to talk pushing his wheel chair on the many sidewalks. While we were there in 2019, the Cove was constructing a new building behind the main building which featured among other things a pool!! My dad's stay at the Cove was short covering just a bit less than 4 months. Dad went into Hospice as we knew he would and we were so GLAD he was at the Cove. The Hospice team was thoroughly amazed with how they took care of dad in his final weeks of life. I have never witnessed the level of care and love shown to residents as I found at the Cove!!! If I ever needed to go into an assisted living residence, I would LOVE to be in one like the Village at Morrison's Cove!! I know you can't please everyone one all the time, but I am pretty picky and I was thoroughly pleased!
