Massive neglect. "Staff resigns" adult protective services called regularly. Loved one assaulted on more than one occassion.

This place has gotten worse and worse. It will improve but only after having Adult Protective services check in and then it goes back to terrible. My mom is consistently in her chair just sitting. The food one evening was gravy over rice with canned cranberry. Nothing else. Last week my mom still had a pill in her mouth she did not want to chew as it tasted bad. No one knew she had not swallowed her medication. She is dressed repeatedly in clothing she does not own and her clothing goes missing consistently. Her walker up and disappeared. A speaker that was on her bed is missing. She had a broken bed for over three months with no one to contact Hospice for a new bed. I did not know this until three months had passed. The place has improved a little but it still smells like urine and vomit. There is a menu that stated her dinner would be Mediterranean chicken salad, instead it was reheated burritos. There are now more activities after I sent multiple complaints to Adult protective services. Luz tries very hard but she told me we would have to pay to rent her bed, which was not true. My mom was acting very strangely and I had her get a UA they took it and then waited too long for the lab to take it, so they sent it to a different lab without letting the doctor know. I had to take her to the ER to get a UA as she was suffering with internal pain at this point. I go weekly to take my mom out of there as it is impossible to breathe the smell is so overwhelming. Lately the food has improved and the smell is better but not great. The billing office has lied directly to the Department of Human Services as they have never called me back since last August. I have tried repeatedly to contact them. I have called, emailed, even texted with zero response and the billing office told our case worker that they have tried to contact me. Just lies and irresponsible lack of action. It is better but they have a long way to go to treat the people who need their care with dignity. I am personally fed up with this place and wish everyone could put there family members someplace better.

I have a mother with dementia and cancer. She needs professional care. I went and toured 3 different places.. Before I walked in the Door I was greeted by an employee who said hello and asked how I was doing. Every employee did the same. Sarah Dodson was very caring. She made sure that I saw everything and that every question I had was answered.. Stephanie the activities director asked all kinds of questions about things my mom liked to do. They made me feel like this is the place for mom. Sarah will do all she can to help you and your loved one in need.

Where can I start…<br>It’s been hard with what has been happening with my dad. And I’m very happy to say Sarah Dodson relieved so much stress. She has been sharp and quick to boarding. She has been covering every detail. Understanding in every way. She is on point. I really appreciate all of her help and care. I’m truly grateful.
