MissionCare at Bennington

MissionCare at Bennington is a specialized skilled nursing facility and long-term care center in Bennington, Vermont. Formerly known as Bennington Health and Rehabilitation Center, it became part of the iCare Health Network in September 2024 and is the only facility of its kind in the state.

The center provides nursing home level care with a specialized focus on supporting individuals with complex needs, including those with mental health support requirements and challenging social or justice-involved histories. Through a partnership and contract with the State of Vermont, MissionCare serves residents referred from throughout Vermont. The facility offers clinical and behavioral programming tailored to residents' specific diagnoses and needs, including care for those with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

The MissionCare at Bennington campus was designed to create a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere that contributes to each resident's ability to enjoy their continuing life experience. The facility emphasizes activity programming through its recreation department, and nursing staff provide regular communication regarding residents' care and condition changes.
