I've been homeless in Milford for 12+ years, and during this deadly heatwave the Senior Center is closed for the 4th of July holiday. Where are the vulnerable elderly supposed to go to cool down? Our graves????

Picked up my sister-in-law everyone was pleasant and friendly. My wife and are are pleased that Milford has such a nice place for their seniors.

At 70 years old, I have suffered homelessness in Milford for almost 10 YEARS now. Every year I attempt to become a member of the senior center. I am always denied and told "you do not have a residential address." This is in violation of the 2013 CT Homeless Bill of Rights signed into law by Gov. Malloy which states: "No homeless individuals may be discriminated against ...." Ya, right! Lately, someone has been stealing my frozen 1 gallon water bottles which I need to keep from dying from the summer heatwaves. 5 times in a row now!! UPDATE: Make that 6 times!! So many homeless die of heat each year - almost like these deaths were PLANNED!!

They offer monthly day trips and a lot of other activities. Very nice staff. Very clean place.
