Unfortunately, the efforts of the care givers, physical therapists and medical professionals are undermined by the incompetence of the administration. The social worker & case manager were unprofessional, non-comunacative, and boarder line incompetent. Now, I am receiving calls regarding billing, when I have not received an accurate detailed account of mom's stay or indication that insurance has been billed. The person calling me is rude and unwilling to let me speak or respond to explain our concern and expectation of written documentation. Mom's stay was continually renewed by this facility without our approval nor were we notified each time they extended her stay. We finally had to make the decision to discharge mom based on the fact that there was nothing physically wrong and no need for her to be there, and it seemed admin was intent on keeping here as long as they could get insurance approval. Not once did we get notification from Menifee Lakes that insurance was not going to pay. Yet they continued to renew her stay without proving an update asking us if we were willing to pay is insurancedidnt cover moms stay. As mom's power of attorney I was not once asked to sign any admitting papers or agreement to pay. Do not allow your loved one to go to this facility.

I am grateful to this place for the service they provided to patient Jose Islas, especially to the social worker department, whose employee Viviana Perona was always very attentive to every question Mr. Islas's family had. Of course, I would recommend this place again :)

Door was locked when we arrived for intake at 8:30pm. It was opened by a patient sitting in a wheelchair. First thing I saw was carts of dirty dishes blocking doorways. It smelled of feces. 3 beds in a room not big enough for two. Not enough room to stand next to the bed. Bathroom for room was too small to use. No way to keep his wounds and dialysis ports clean. Staff actually wanted me to sign to allow their doctor to treat "sores and wounds" he might develop. Negative stars.

Can't understand negative reviews. My son has been there for two weeks and EVERY person has been helpful, competent, friendly, and responsive. The physical therapists have done an excellent job with his recovery. We couldn't have selected a better facility for his post-hip break recovery. Would choose it again in a heartbeat.
