Best places to retire! Gives great options! Nice and friendly staff. Whoever writes the opposite is too demanding or ungrateful. I would recommend this place any time.

A wonderful place for any elderly family member. They are on top of absolutely everything when it comes to care, service, food, cleanliness, activities for their residents, they have a pool, gym, and are constantly remodeling making everything better. This place is worth every penny

World class amenities is hugely overrated by management. Pictures of the Meadows shown online by the Meadows are all of newly constructed wing. The part of the Meadows with the restaurants, common areas and many apartments are located in the oldest part of the campus. I have visited my sister there several times over the years and have become very upset. It's very apparent that curb appeal is far more important to the management company then the quality of care, amenities and a long list of other things. The quality of food sucks!!!!!!!! The food served in independent living is extremely high in carbs and very low in protein, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, and good quality foods. The monthly basic fees are increased by a minimum of 5% every year. However, this year the increase is close to 10%. In addition to a long list of additional fees. Any medical help individuals in independent living need must be on emergency 911 call or your own personal physician that you must arrange. Management doesn't provide any medical help. There, I've alluded to a few things I have heard from countless residents.

The Meadows is the most cheerful nursing home that I have ever visited. It is in a beautiful setting with modern interior and lavish landscape design. More importantly, it has skilled nurses and therapists who help people recover and get back to their lives at home. I wanted my husband to recover from his heart attack here because he was not receiving the therapy that he needed in our home town. It is a long drive for me to visit, but I know that he will be able to come home again.

I feel like I should inform people that the 1800 building where they house elderly that are still a bit more mobile than the others, does not have adequate medical personnel on hand to help them when their emergency bracelets go off. When their bracelets go off, this establishment has placed the responsibility of wellness checks on security who cannot touch or assist them if there was a true emergency at hand such as a serious fall or even worse.. Security spends precious minutes going to the unit to then call non emergency or 911 to assist instead of the company hiring skilled medical personnel to be on site to quickly be able to help them as soon as their bracelets send the alert. I think we know that when it comes to an elderly loved one needing assistance that every minute counts and I am appalled that this place im sure is charging an arm and leg for residence here is cutting corners like this. These are people's grandparents, parents, aunts and uncle's, etc and they deserve better than this level of care.
