$5000 fine given to the facility while a CNA was just following protocol of not moving a patient completely unsafe for care staff extreme liability would not recommend any care staff to work in this facility You can end up in prison due to their policy that they don't even follow. Nor will they make a comment on your behalf to protect you from prison sad to know a caregiver was just doing her job probably making minimum wage working around the clock with ratios that are not realistic. Prayers for the innocent caregiver and her family what a shameful outcome .

Hi i'm Tom Yarusso and I was a resident at Meadow Ridge Senior Living Golden Valley for 6 years, made lots of friends. But new director Alex F. has a policy of if someone falls, do not touch call 911. Larry Thompson 79 fell from his scooter and died of suffocation because staff wouldn't help until rescue came to late. they are in deep trouble now. See story Channel 9 news. Michael Schafer wouldn't help a man who had bandage dragging. Not a place to send your loved one

Constant changeover of HHA s NO STAFF RNs on call over weekends, despite petitions signed by residents Michael Schafer who tries to get Apts. Rented. Will blatantly lie to potential residents. Just to get them in. Constant turnover at front desk. On nite shift. Many HHAs sleep on the job, and not fired. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. ​

My mother moved here in December of 2024 and it has been a wonderful experience. Being on the elderly waiver we’re used to her not getting a very high level of service. Everyone here has been delightful to deal with, from the marketing guy to the maintenance guy, to the nursing staff. My mom has a pretty high need level and everyone has been really accommodating, patient, and helpful. I can’t tell you what a relief it is for her and my family to have found Meadow Ridge. I can’t recommend it enough!

Lived experience here makes a 1 star rating necessary. Yea, there are those on staff who actually care, and I applaud them, but after my mom was sent to the ICU for extreme dehydration in spring of '24.... things changed for sure. Now we are dealing with what feels like fraud by months later. Long after we transferred her to a nearby home where her quality of life increased 100 fold for the last days of her life,. Yup - not even a resident but Meadow Ridge has charged us for rent out of the blue. Sad thing is - my mom passed away a couple days ago. Not sure if they are simply trying to grift a bank account at this point or if they are still also claiming Medicare and Elderly Waiver benefits too! We reached out to try to have things corrected but requests have fallen on deaf ears despite a hard deadline to rectify. Shady AF. Stay away!
