The amazing staff are the only reason this facility gets any stars. They were fantastic and I wish I could rate this higher. However, whoever owns this facility desperately needs to reinvest some money back into the place & food menu/options/cooks. The facility appeared sanitized and very clean throughout, but there was also a strong consistent soiled oder that never got better or went away. 1)Food my uncle said it was horrible & we were unsure if they have any dietitian on staff cuz they kept giving him stuff he couldn't/shouldn't eat in his chart. He definitely lost weight in there. The staff are limited to the resources they are provided, which appeared to be the basics and pretty unappetizing for patients. 2) The smell there is awful! Not sure if it's the really old carpet that's got a sunk in stench, but it was bad and somehow kept getting worse as the weeks progressed. Luckily it bothered my uncle less then myself, but we both agreed it was bad. 3) Shared bathrooms with adjoining patients rooms. This one was tough for my uncle because his neighbor kept leaving it pretty gross and he hated having to ask Staff to clean it just so he could use it during his recovery because of fences everywhere. I really wish I could give a raving review, but it was not the most comfortable place to recover down my uncle. It has the potential, but definitely needs these improvements 1st. It does have a fenced dog park out front and a cozy patio which is a great idea and location. All staff from PT, to nurses, directors, and anyone we encountered we kind and helpful and that was ultimately the most important thing.

I was here visiting with a friend who was visiting family. I kinda just sat around, wandered of a time or two just to burn time but whenever I came across a staff member or was there with my friend I couldn't believe how nice and professional they were. I don't know anyone there except my friend but a staff member would peek in from time to time and ask how things were going and asked if they needed anything. I've know people in nursing home before and have visited them and never have I seen such kindness towards them and to myself as well. If my parents were still around and I lived in McCall, this would be my first choice where I'd be comfortable having them live here. Great experience! Ty

Such a wonderful facility! My grandma has recently been rehabilitating here and has made amazing progress. She has received wonderful care in all aspects; physical, emotional, mental, etc. They provide all around care for your loved one and strive to make them feel at home. She has made so many wonderful friends, with both the staff and residents.

My husband spent about 4 months at the Care Center. Originally he was there to build back strength, but over the time he was there, he became completely disabled. The staff were friendly and loving, especially one CNA who went out of her way make John comfortable . If we did not have this facility in McCall I would not have been able to go in and visit everyday. The Admin staff were great to work with and very helpful. If I had a question for the Doctor I was told what time he would be in so I could meet with him. Family was always welcome, by all employees. Thank you all for the care and love you shared with my husband John.

I have had people - friends, folks i have cared for in the past, wards, in the McCall Nursing home for years. There have been times in the past that I couldn't wait to get my people out of there! Now, 2025 - 26, this is a great place for them! The staff is great to communicate icate with me, they are friendly, the food seems good (I've not tried it, but my people are well satisfied). Residents are always clean and happy. They have many activities to participate in if they choose. Staff seems content and well capable. They let my mutt come visit my friend a d they have a fun dog park where the residents can enjoy the dogs ramping. I am there at least once a week and am completely satisfied with the care my friends and ward are getting. Thank you all so much for your care!
