Although I enjoyed the experience at the school and with the people, I had a hard time getting the interview and starting. I felt I was under trained for the actual job. They didn’t offer me safety care training (they refer to it as something else) until I had already been there for 3 months, and ended up missing the training, and the next one was very late towards the end of the school year. & the communication w the school and agency was also very complicated. Overall time wasted and they did a very poor job finding anything for the summer, since we also don’t receive benefits.

Maxim has terrible communication and follow up services. If you need a service, you basically need to repeatedly call them and baby them to get anything done.

Interesting how disgruntled employees slander a business when they are at fault. This job & Sean have been awesome. Sean has gone out of his way to make sure I always have a case, and has helped me reach new educational goals. I feel genuinely appreciated as a staff member, and am discovering an entire new career path. I am a huge fan of trainings and absolutely have loved this new wealth of knowledge in my childcare skills. Really like… use your judgement about these reviews. It’s clear there was a lack of effort on the ex-employee’s part because I have excelled at this job. And like so what if Maxim doesn’t pay for every training in cost or labor. You get out of anything, any job, exactly what you put into it. so if you feel you’re unprepared, your education is actually on you, not them. Maybe don’t take a job you aren’t qualified for if you aren’t willing to put in the effort to learn. You are responsible for your experience.

Matt was unhelpful, and rude.He made the application process impossible, he emailed an application without informing me, then was so pushy and harassed me into going too quickly.I tried to explain to him that parts of the application that were submitted did not submit correctly which he completely ignored, then gave me a dead line to submit everything.I reached his deadline and then heard nothing back. I am now getting endless email reminders to complete an application that is HRs part. If you go through Maxim steer clear of Matt.

I had a great experience. Arvid Isaksen was very communicative, organized, and helpful. I enjoyed my assignment and felt supported at all times.
