Great place for seniors to visit, make friends, exercise classes, all kind of games. Staff very friendly. They also have educational speakers. So glad my Husband and I joined.

Very welcoming and friendly place. Staff is wonderful. Meals on Wheels program is so special for the folks too!! Wonderful place to volunteer!!!!

Brought my mom here with high hopes of her meeting people her age. She moved to Columbia recently and doesn't know anyone. We walked in the back door (since parking is in the rear). We slowly made our way to the front (no one noticed we were there), and in doing so, we walked in between 3 round tables full of seniors playing cards. My mom walks slow, so this took some time. I was waiting and hoping for SOMEONE to look at my mom and at least smile, but that didn’t happen. The only person who looked at us gave us the look that said ‘you are not welcome here’. We then get to the front desk and talk to someone who tells us that these women have all known each other for years. That told me why we got the look (the woman who gave the awful look had 2 men at her table, so I figured she thought my mom would steal her man). We were handed papers to fill out and told us that even if my mom never comes back, they’ll get money from the county or whoever, just for filling it out. We didn’t fill it out. The kicker was when we walked through the tables of people playing cards (to leave), the same woman stood up and gave us the same scowl look. I could not believe it and I was just thankful my mom didn’t see it. We did not feel welcome AT ALL. It was so disappointing and a one and done. I wish now I would’ve told that lady not to worry, we aren’t here to steal your man
