My dad was placed here at the skilled nursing facility to help rehabilitate his walking and strength. He was okayed to go home from the hospital but our family decided we needed a little more help getting him walking and mobile before we were able to take him home to help him properly.... My poor father laid in the bed at this facility for 3 days with out getting him out of bed 1 time!! Theresa no where to be found for a hour or so while my dad laid in his soiled diaper, mind you my dad can walk, they chose to put a diaper on him and make him a fall risk. Come to find out there is no PT on weekends so your loved one will just lay there all day Saturday and sunday. Me and my 3 sisters were there every day multiple times a day. Very hard to find any nurses that are willing to help your loved one out of bed. After not being able to find a nurse to help my dad use the rest room and leaving him soiled we decided home is much better for him...... we bring this all to their attention.... they threaten us saying we will be denied all services if we check him out against their advise! If you cant be there all the advocating for your loved one dont go here. Everyone was nice and friendly but that isnt always enough when it comes to care. No pt on the weekends so they lay them there for 2 days is disgusting!

This is a very good place. My father has been here for almost 3 years and the staff is very friendly and take very good care of him here. He is always clean and up in his wheelchair and the nurses and doctors are very prompt on calling us with any changes.. very professional and well maintained. I would definitely recommend. 👍

i’m a resident here at Manzanita, and Carrie Welch, who is a CNA here she excels in so many areas her bedside manner is impeccable. She is one of the sweetest people I know.!!! She is so awesome to have as a CNA because she makes being here so fun and seem like I’m at a five star resort!!!! she brings happiness and joy into what most would seem to make it out like a horrible experience. Her smile Lights up the whole hallways as she approaches, to help you out with anything and everything that she can!!!!!!! her professionalism outshines all the other CNA‘s that I have come in contact with, Which is hard to do, because they are all top notch also!!!!!!! Her response time to the call light is Lightning fast!! She makes you feel like you are her only patient. At any given time, you can come approach her and she always has a smile on her face!! she goes above and beyond what she is supposed to do not only as a CNA, but as a caring person who will listen to whatever you have to say no matter what it is, No matter how long it takes you to say it!! So all in all, Carrie Welch should get nurse of the year!!!!

Please don't send your loved ones to this place.Its dirty and they don't seem to care about the patients .this place has constant Covid out breaks .my dad got covid twice in 2 weeks from this place .they don't isolate anyone when they test positive. They leave the doors wide open leave used dirty gloves next to bed on the ground.my dad was there to get better .He got worse I took him out. The call the nurse light was out for every patient was out of service so they had to use cow bells .some patients waited hrs to get notice .tvs didn't work so patients bored stare at the walls .Do your research on this nursing home.

The Food tastes great, Cari is the best CNA I had. She made me feel comfortable and never got annoyed with answering my call lights. Her infectious personality made my stay quite pleasant. My favorite staff shift was the 2pm to 10pm shift. Cari I wish I could have had you for every shift. The other staff were pleasant, the morning shift had no time for added twists of care. It seemed like I had a different person every time for PT. My requests were not addressed in a timely manner. I don't recall seeing the doctor over seeing my medications. It took 3 days of asking and a phone call from my son to speak with the dietician ( I'm diabetic) and was receiving regular meals. The nurses were good, but I had to ask for my pain meds. If I was just rating the second shift staff I would have given five stars.
