Caregiver Charlie destroyed my loved one’s life.<br><br>He burned a hole in the bathroom sink. He threw out $600 working home appliances he put in writing he knew were working.<br><br>He no showed numerous scheduled times for care.<br><br>He acted very bizarrely on security footage.<br><br>He locked himself in the bathroom for an hour claiming he was “cleaning it” only to come out an hour later with nothing cleaner and cleaning supplies strewn about.<br><br>He could not follow simple recipes or directions.<br><br>He appears to be unable to follow a basic schedule.<br><br>Attempts were made to report the issues to staff and ownership of the company but Layla and Taylor would scream at our loved one declaring on cell phone recording the neglect would be worsened if it was reported.<br><br>Layla, staff at the office, declared Magnoila had no care or liability if their staff physically abused or engaged in neglect of clients so bad the client end up hospitalized from it because as she said on cell phone recorded call, “Medicaid pays for the hospital bills.”<br><br>Then Layla declared the neglect would continue unless the victim hired HER a lawyer. (Again all on cell phone recording.)<br><br>Good staff and good caregivers quit while a culture of submitting to abuse and bullying and silence has been built at this agency.<br><br>Neighbors and security for the building became involved after witnessing bizarre behaviors of the caregiver and still to this day we continue to be lied to being told Medina Sorensen, the owner, would call the victim and after a week, there is no call.<br><br>Find somewhere else. Don’t let your loved one become traumatized and hospitalized by this agency. They don’t care.
