This is an old hospital, the was no air conditioning, it was hot, they tried to keep the patients cool with the fans you find in your home, that can’t be healthy spreading gems back around, bathroom was dirty when I got there. There was one TV in the room for four people The doctors and nurses during the day were very good. The nurses at night not so good. The food was disgusting the smell of it made me sick. I only ate applesauce. If they had not released me I was going to check myself out. I was there for there for two days and it seems Ike two weeks of hell. I have lupus and have frequent stays in the hospital I never want to be sent to that hospital, I changed my insurance the next business day so I never have to experience that again.

Worst experience of my life! If I could give zero stars I would. This place should be shut down! I did not willingly choose this dump of a hospital, I was transferred there. I went to the ER on 7/6/26 due to a fall resulting in severe pain in my shoulder. Turns out it is dislocated and fractured. The ER wanted to admit me to manage my pain, do a MRI, and have a consultation with the Orthopedic Surgeon, as I may need surgery. Unfortunately, my insurance didn’t allow and required me to be transferred to this dump. This place was supposed to mange my pain, do an MRI, and have me see the Orthopedic Surgeon. I was admitted at on 7/7/26 at 8am did not receive pain meds, food, and water until after 3:30 pm despite me begging for pain meds, food, and water when I could get ahold of someone. I was placed in a shared room that was extremely hot and used 1 cheap fan to go between the both of us. The air conditioning does not work, in the patient rooms, but somehow they vented air in the hallway for the staff. The bed call and tv button did not work. Upon walking to the nurse station to inform them the call button isn’t working and ask for my nurse, they give you a separate call button, that they still do not respond to. The nurses ignore the call button and even when you go to the nurse station and ask for your nurse they ignore you for hours hence why I didn’t get any assistance until after 3:30 pm. The doctor is non responsive, the nurse practitioner in his place is in and out in 1 minute. The nurse practitioner refused to order the MRI, only put the referral in for the Orthopedic Surgeon, said if they feel it’s necessary then they will order it. When asked, when will the Orthopedic Surgeon come in, I was informed he as a 24 hour window to respond to the request. When I insisted on the MRI being ordered, so the Orthopedic Surgeon can review it and have a plan by the time they see me, was ignored. So in the meantime I’m supposed to sit in a hot room, no air, no tv, and in severe pain, not treated, and ignored until they decide to show up? They did not follow all of the ER’s recommendations. By the way, I never received anymore med even after asking for more pain meds and something for my migraine. I felt, if I was going to be in pain, uncomfortable, not treated, and ignored I’d rather be home, so I left that on 7/7/26 at 8:30 pm. I was reluctant to be transferred to this hospital but, I really wanted treatment so I went against my gut and I paid the price. I should have followed my first mind.

While sitting in that room, being ignored I filed a grievance with my insurance against the hospital. I called my doctor’s office to schedule an appointment to follow up, prescribe pain meds, and submit my referrals for the MRI and Orthopedic Surgeon. I was able to get the referrals I needed based off the ER’s recommendation from the X-Ray & CT that were already completed with them. I completed the MRI and also had the appt with Orthopedic Surgeon who has confirmed I do in fact need surgery. I also changed my insurance plan to ensure I that NEVER be taken to this place or their sister hospital ever again!

This hospital really dropped the ball on my care and after reading all the reviews I’m not hardly surprised. This hospital is atrocious! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone needing care.

Pics: The fan shared between the two patients, my “goal for the day” which was not met, broken call button, replacement call button, and the rooms proximity to the nurse station. It’s insane that I can hear when I press the replacement call button ring but they couldn’t seem to.

Do Better! Don’t leave me a BS response to cover your butt.
