It was so clean, didn't have smell of so many rehab/Infirmary. Everyone was very pleasant.

My roommate and I spent the weekend here to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We ate lunch with the sisters, attended the Sunday service, and spent many hours in the woods and in the chapel, reading and writing. The sisters are very active in the community and committed to social justice. They were delightful to interact with. I expected to rest this weekend; what I did not expect was to receive so much knowledge as well. The accommodations are beautiful, and there is a kitchen available for cooking. I will be back. Thank you all for a wonderful welcome!!!

I attended a classical concert at the chapel at the motherhouse. The music was superb! The sisters sponsor a classical concert series which is free and open to the public. The performers are classically trained and are usually from local universities - often professors or graduate students. The acoustics of the space are amazing. Over the years, I have attended a number of concerts. Beautiful music in a beautiful surrounding is what I have always experienced! Many of the older nuns who have retired to the motherhouse are in attendance as well as visitors.
