Wonderful experience with this facility. The nursing staff was compassionate, attentive and always treated residents with dignity and respect. The therapist are knowledgeable and encouraging, helping patients make steady progress towards recovery. The facility was clean, well-maintained and had a welcoming atmosphere.

I am an LA Harbor College student and I completed my CNA clinical training at Lomita Post Acute Care Center. The staff was welcoming and supportive, taking the time to answer questions and provide guidance throughout my clinical rotation. This facility allowed me to gain hands-on experience with essential CNA skills, including assisting residents with activities of daily living, providing personal care, and practicing proper infection control procedures. One of the most rewarding aspects of my clinical experience was interacting with residents and learning the importance of compassionate, patient-centered care. I was able to develop my communication skills and build confidence while working with residents who had a variety of healthcare needs.

The facility is clean and all the staff are professional and kind. The rehab staff are exceptional. Food is fairly good and response times are good depending upon the staffing. Weekends are short staffed so response times are longer. But overall, this is the place you want to be if you need rehab. Wonderful loving and caring people. And great results.

Our father had a stroke in January and anticipating a long rehabilitation from his primary hospital they suggested we choose a facility for his therapy and care. Lomita post acute care was one of the facilities on the list and had the best reviews out of all of them. We made an appointment to see the place and was impressed. Now our father has been there a few weeks now and we are very pleased with the care he has been receiving. Thank you so much Karla, Florida , Adele and the whole staff for taking care of him . The care team is great and there is a clear plan of what is expected for his road to recovery . The food is good as well.

This is a wonderful facility with a team that truly cares about the residents they serve. Both the administrator, Kyle, and the DON, Karla, lead with kindness and compassion, and that leadership is clearly reflected in how well the building operates and how supportive the staff are with one another. The recent remodel looks fantastic and has created a very welcoming environment. I have also had nothing but wonderful interactions with Florida and Josh in admissions— they are incredibly kind and truly take the time to get to know residents and their families both before and after the admissions process, which makes a big difference. Another thing that always stands out is the rehab department. The therapy room is often full of residents working hard alongside their therapists, and you can genuinely see the encouragement and positive energy in the room. It’s clear that the therapists truly enjoy what they do and support residents in reaching their goals. Overall, there’s a strong sense of warmth and community throughout the building. You can tell the residents and staff have a genuine connection, and that residents are treated with dignity, respect, and care.
