Horrible place, adults have mites, and the administrator says it's dry skin. They should close this horrible place. I give it 1 star because it can't be less.

Lakewood Gardens has been an absolute blessing for my family. My Aunt Annie became a resident in July 2021 and I could not have asked for a better place for her. The leadership is top notch and the environment is loving and caring. They show the kind of love towards my Aunt Annie as if she is their own family member. The staff is phenomenal and always pleasant, helpful and a joy to partner with. The Medtechs are Great! They are always available to answer questions regarding my Aunt’s care. They keep me informed and in the loop about everything as it relates to my Aunt. I have never had a negative experience in 2years that my Aunt has resided there. The facility is CLEAN, never smells , well sanitized and they take pride in maintaining a well kept safe home for my Aunt. The residents are engaged in various activities, they are fed well balanced meals and love permeates through out the whole building. She is assisted with bathing and dressing and looks beautiful every time I visit and that’s often and at various days and times. They never know when I’m coming. I HIGHLY recommend Lakewood Gardens for your loved ones. If you truly want the peace of mind to know that your loved one is safe, secured and well taken care of ,Lakewood Gardens is second to none. Kudos to the dynamic team headed by Jeene, Chris, Rita, Alita and the absolutely amazing care team and aides. The maintenance team is also great! I love that they genuinely show care and concern for not only the residents but to family members as well. I truly thank God that we were blessed to find Lakewood Gardens, I rest well knowing my Aunt is in great hands. You will not find a better place for your loved one especially one that specializes in dementia care. Schedule a visit and you will be happy you did. Thank you Lakewood Gardens staff and employees from receptionists, aides, care team, food service team, activities coordinator, administrators and everyone involved in Annie’s care, I sincerely appreciate all that you do. Chris, Jeanie & Aleta take GREAT care of my Aunt. The doctor assigned to Lakewood is also very compassionate and tender hearted in addressing any health issues that arise. The staff are all very kind to residents and the building is always clean. The air went out in my Aunt's unit and they made sure to relocate her to an empty unit until the AC was restored. We are even able to set up Facetime appointments for loved ones near and far to speak to my Aunt if they aren't able to get to see her in person. I have no idea where the low reviews come from. Please don't let the reviews deter you from considering this as a place for your loved one. We feel at peace knowing my Aunt is safe, secured, well fed, well looked after and happy here. It's been a blessing to have her in a place where she is treated with the same level of care and respect as if she were the staff's own mother or Aunt. Dementia patients here are at various levels of progression. Many are up, walking and active so the community is quite vibrant and they are kept engaged with resident activities throughout the week.

Do not place your loved one here. Employees are overworked and place is so understaffed it should be illegal. They can not provide a good level of care. Your loved one will not have 24/7 care that's false advertisement. My loved one sufferers numerous falls and unexplained bruises. Stay away. Not good care here!

I Brought my brother here for 24 hours Observation. Since he suffers from dementia everything was well until he started breaking out very badly with SCABIES YES! SCABIES, it went on and on, I had to be the one requesting treatment for him And all he got prescribed by the Dr on call was Lubriderm. I took action on my own and took him to ER, where he was diagnosed with SCABIES. There is a breakout at this Facility, then when I spoke with the OWNER of the Facility, he denied it. I would never bring any of my loved ones into this place again! To this day he's still struggling with this skin infection.
