Residents smoking Crack in room while roommate in the room (17) Food served cold, meat raw Infection linen washed with regular linen. Cnas are rough with patient family members Falls are not documented Patients drugged Residents m0ney missing The lady cna supervisor harasses, talks disrespectful, taunts, bullies there cnas we witnessed it. Wheelchair breaks while resident is sitting in Sparks from outlets.. while building needs new personnel in it.. All supervisors and administrator, don need to be fired and new brought in This place is awful short staffed, staff sleep at night, no one cares..and nothing is done about it

I've been in and out of long term care facilities for decades due to my job, but only recently have been put in the position of placing a family member. The team at Lake Charles Care Center have been wonderful. And each time we visit, every staff member greets us, has a smile and a cheerful attitude. I've only ever found the facility to be spotlessly clean, and my family member claims to be pampered by the staff. This facility was recommended by a friend who had a parent there, and I can see why now. I really have to give a ton of credit to the staff and administration.

My Mother was in lake Charles care center for 1 1/2 years Now I had to put her somewhere else because, lack of care, she has been to LCMH 3 times for UTI 2 of those times she almost died, now I cannot get get her clothes r her wheel chair, they say she didn't have one, yes she did have one. My mom was nonresponsive the UTI was so bad. She was dehydrated too. She just lay in the bed knowone was checking on her. I don't recommend this place. Her water container was never by her bed side always on the other side of the room where she couldn't get to it. They simply do not care. Please don't bring your loved one here. My Mother is bed ridden she cannot walk r stand by herself

The Nurse Practitioner Raquel is amazing and truly listens and cares. I can’t say enough positive things about the CNA Jazz. She truly has a gift for taking care of the patient and is so kind to the families of the patients. I don’t know if she will ever realize how grateful we are for the quality of care she provided for my dad.

Jackie, Jenn and Taj are some of the best. Their attention to detail while helping the residents is second to none. All the therapists there are amazing. The therapist get the residence back up on their feet and moving and the time and attention they give is some awesome. I would not hesitate in recommending a loved one going here.
