Oh my god this place is the worst. Deserves 0 stars!!!! My sister was temporarily in this place and witnessed the horrors of abandonment of the patients. Cna’s cursing at each other like an episode of baddies and twerking just embarrassing. Bad attitudes and patient neglect! Previous patients poop on the toilet without being properly cleaned and sanitized! Your loved ones are not safe here.! This place needs to be closed. Shameful and dishonest. A horror show!

My experience with this facility has been overwhelmingly negative. The level of care is negligent, the sanitation is poor, and there is a clear lack of professionalism among staff. Communication is almost nonexistent — they rarely answer the phones, making it extremely difficult to get updates or speak with anyone about your loved one’s condition. If you do have a family member in their care, I strongly recommend visiting frequently and checking on them in person. Based on what I observed, relying on them to communicate or maintain proper standards is unrealistic. This facility needs serious improvement in patient care, cleanliness, and basic professionalism; I removed my loved one from their care.

Yes facility is a little old and needs some TLC. But the staff is kind, friendly and competent. I think this facility must’ve been built sometime ago because it is clearly not up to the latest protocols for people with disabilities for permanent or short term stay. Turning around a wheelchair can be a challenge as there really isn’t enough clearance in some places. The food: well let’s face it: it’s institutional food and as such it is not great. Fortunately the facility allows its inmates to order out. Has a nice backyard patio with plenty of sun. Well I cannot say that I have enjoyed my time here and who does in a rehabilitation facility? Ssince I had to be at one I have been pleased with this one.

I had a dear friend who was a resident of Kyakameena Skilled Nursing facility for 3 years. The staff was very professional, caring, responsive, respectful and attentive. The facility was always clean and I was always greet warmly. My friend always said how much she enjoyed her time at Kyakameena. I always knew that she was receiving the best care!

The staff never, never, never, never answers the phone. Impossible for me to get in contact with a loved one or get any information at all!! Left a voicemail for resident social worker, she does not return calls either. I am 600 miles away and it makes me a nervous wreck. I sent a package to my brother and Amazon delivered it but it was never given to him. I had a friend in the area go to visit to see what was going on and was told that the nurses sit and chat and let the phone ring. This place is a mess!
