Great experience. Staff were caring, knowledgeable, a pleasure to be at Nelson Care Center (wish circumstances were different). Occupational and physical therapy were awesome!! It was tough. Not unreasonable but what I needed. I guess what I'm trying to say is "YOU'RE THE BEST "

I’ve only been here a few days, but the Staff has been wonderful. So far the Meals are wonderful!

My mom's been there multiple times due to falls and they always took great care of her. The rooms and dining hall are spacious. There is a hair salon and a chapel.

My mother was there a short time but she thrived while she was. She had a stay at a different facility after a long hospital stay and was not doing well. I believe and know that at Nelson she was looked after so much closer and it showed, she loved all the care givers, liked her room, and enjoyed the food and when it was her time they made sure she was comfortable and not alone as we tried to get there. I cannot say thank you enough to all of her caregivers. She enjoyed and talked about you to us and enjoyed the facility and all it had to offer. From myself and my family I wanted to say Thank you! and Thank you for all you do for everyone there, as you walk through the hallways to visit your family member you see and hear the caregivers interaction with all the people there and its not just a job to them they truely care. First this is Gary, Tim is a made up email name Ma has been at Knute Nelson for 17 days now,and I would say they are talking wonderful care of ma! Ma has a lot of problems and they try their best to keep ma comfortable. Ma moved in with a large sore on her back and went and talked to Megan and decided after food she should maybe be laid down right away after she eats. Think that was excellent idea! They certainly seem to really care! Other day needed L end wrenches to adjust ma's chair and maintenance man got to the room with them before I returned to her room. This is the third home ma has been in,in the last year and a half. The first one put ma in the hospital for 3 1/2 horrible months,the second one did an awesome job but they were 120 miles from home. Now she's at knute Nelson,20 miles from home,so nice. Even ma says she wants to stay! So people if you want an excellent place for your parents,go to Knute Nelson!!
