It pains me to give a fine institution like Job Haines a flunking grade. It is clean, well-run, and has a lot of good staff. Food not bad. Undoubtedly most patients have good experiences. However, for me and my wife it turned into a month long horror of pain and stress. Admitted from an ER for a bleed into her knee, requiring careful monitoring of her blood INR, she had to be taken back to the ER again after a few days because her blood was too thin, leading to more bleeding and excruciating pain. Because the pain was so awful she made comments about being better off dead. A “Dr. Yang” talked to her, did a “psychological workup”, and made a recommendation that she be discharged to a hospice and euthanized! I will never forgive this. At no time during her months stay did she see a doctor to explain what was going on and what they expected, and I think this is the big problem with Job Haines, which has fine nurses and aides to attend to diaper changes and things like that. Toward the end of her nightmare stay her blood INR was measured at a life-threatening value of 9, which had to be brought down by Vitamin K. Just inexcusable, careless, and unprofessional on their part.

First I want to preface this by saying I am a nurse. My husband has severe lung and heart disease . He was hospitalized for 3 months and was unable to walk and barely able to stand. I am a Case Manager and hear horror stories about facilities all the time. I was reluctant to send my husband to SAR but Job Haines was highly recommended to me. They accepted him even though he is not an easy pt due to his lung disease. If I could give this place 10 stars!! I would. The care he received was incredible! Can you imagine a nurse with NO complaints. Everyone in this facility was wonderful and you should all be proud of the care you provide. I will always recommend Job Haines!

Our family cannot say enough positive things about Job Haines Long Term.care. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warmth and compassion. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our father received the best care possible during the last days of his life. The facility itself was immaculate and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. The nurses and caregivers were not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but also incredibly kind and patient. They took the time to get to know my father on a personal level and tailored their care to meet his individual needs. It was clear that they truly cared about the well-being and happiness of all the residents and their families. Overall, we are extremely grateful for the exceptional care and support that our father received at Job Haines. We would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of a caring and nurturing environment for their loved ones. Eileen and Colleen L.

Job Haines has done an AMAZING job of taking care of our father. Since his very first day when he started in the Sub-Acute section he has had the best care. He moved into the Assisted Living area at the end of January and I can honestly say we have never had a moment of concern over his care. Everything about Job Haines is top notch. When walking in you are always warmly welcomed by name. The facility is homey and warm and clean. My father loves the food, the staff and the activities. Since our dad can no longer live at our home we have no concerns whatsoever about having him at Job Haines. It is the next best thing to being at home!
