My daughter looked at ten assisted living facilities near her, going several times to many. Ivy Park at Salinas was far and away her favorite. After visiting there yesterday, I understand why. Michelle Leyva, sales associate, came in on Saturday to show my daughter and I around. She was delightful, thorough and very helpful. This was my daughter’s fourth visit to Ivy Park, each time with Michelle. She guided us through the entire facility and was available to answer any and all questions. Michelle also showed us the updated one-bedroom and Dahlia Suites. All the apartments are currently being updated. I was surprised and pleased at how lovely and spacious they were. It was also nice to see how many residents were out and about, coming out for freshly baked cookies (available twice a day,) playing bingo and sitting by the large fire in the entry. Most smiled and waved at me. I found the facility so pleasing that I decided to move there. I was quite nervous about moving, but with Michelle’s help, I am now more excited than scared. If you decide to go on a tour, I recommend that you ask for Michelle.

Letter Of Appreciation: Sara Post Jennifer Sparks Ritesh Sing Lexandra Retamoza Francis Peters Monica Zunita Brittany Yedilka My husband and I moved into Ivy Park, Salinas, CA July 1 2024. We came here after living in our home in Oxnard, CA for 35 years. We moved to Ivy Park to be closer to family in Salinas, CA. We didn't know anyone in the area other than our 2 nieces. It didn't stay that way long. The staff at Ivy Park became our friends. We have fun here. It's not just a place to take care of us. They actually care about all of the residents wellbeing. They want to give us the best experiences. We go on awesome outings with the friendliest and most capable bus drivers. We always have a qualified care giver to ensure our safety and health. Our safety and health are of the utmost importance to them. With the local churches so close together, Lexie, our van driver, goes above and beyond to ensure that each of us gets to our churches on time. She's amazing and so very caring. Plus she's fun and makes our lives happy. The chef makes the most awesome soups. We, the residents, comment that we've never heard of some of the soups before. But we're chowing down on them like we've been eating them all of our lives. The chef and his staff makes mealtime a pleasure with delicious, piping hot foods, sandwiches, hamburgers, and super wonderful salads built to order. Even though my husband and I left our neighbors of 35 years, we have found people here at Ivy Park that we can depend on. There are so many names that I can't put into this letter from the front desk staff that welcomes us back, to activities people who make life fun, to our super safe and caring van drivers, to the maintenance staff that's always on time for repairs, to the capable kitchen staff and wait staff that make and serve 3 meals a day with pride and love. They work together as a team to ensure our quality of life. Our sincere appreciation for a "job well done." Richard and Theresa Weiche Ivy Park Salinas, CA Room 320

once again, Ivy park has come through for my mother. She has been living at Ivan Park for 2 1/2 years. The Care is outstanding. Several weeks ago my mother had to be hospitalized for an intestinal blockage. After her care at the hospital, she was moved to a place called Cypress Ridge for therapy that I don’t think she really needed. When we tried to remove her from Cypress Ridge, we were met with resistance Wanted to keep her for the financial for their facility. My mothers care did not seem to be at the top of the list. It was hard to watch and when we tried to remove her, insisted that Ivy park and hospice would have to be involved. Today we had a worker from Ivy park, Hugo, show up to assess my mother. He was loving and kind and agree with us that there was no reason for her to be there and he got the ball rolling. It’s still taking one more day, but with the calls from Monica and Carmen and then Hugo, we are getting her out of a place where she is very unhappy. there are not enough good things to say about Ivy park and the care she gets there and the people that serve their clients. I don’t know how they find the people that they do but they treat my mother like she is a family member. It is the best and we are so happy.

The staff have been truly amazing in our time of need. They work very hard to give really good care. This would be impossible without the team at Sunrise Villa Salinas!

Staff is friendly. Exterior of building is in poor condition, needs paint, new roof, proper lawn maint, and general cleaning. Food and service are substandard.
