Intermountain Health Home Health in Cedar City, Utah provides skilled nursing care, physical therapy, and other support services delivered in patients' homes. The service helps with post-surgery recovery, management of chronic conditions, and ongoing medical care that allows patients to remain at home rather than in a facility.
To qualify for home health services, patients generally need a referral from a physician, typically after a hospital stay, or they may qualify if they have a medical condition requiring skilled nursing care or therapy at home. The frequency of visits depends on individual medical needs and care plans, with nurses and therapists visiting as often as necessary to monitor progress, provide treatment, and educate patients and families on managing their conditions.
Medicare and most private insurance plans cover eligible home health services, though coverage varies by provider and plan. Patients are encouraged to contact their insurance provider before starting service to discuss coverage details. The duration of home health services varies based on medical condition and progress, with the healthcare team continuously assessing needs and adjusting the care plan accordingly.
Intermountain Health Home Health serves Nevada, Utah, Idaho, and Colorado. The care team provides instructions on contacting urgent medical services and can coordinate with physicians to ensure prompt care when needed. The organization also offers an advanced care and end-of-life planning program to help patients prepare advance directives and advance care planning documents.

I was on a trip to the area. That first night I tried to use my cpap and it was blowing air through the humidity chamber. I had changed the chamber from the one at home that I was using because I had it tied to my SoClean. I had forgot to take out the seal and just grabbed my extra chamber and off I went. So after a sleepless first night I went to IHC in Cedar City hoping they could help me. As soon as I mentioned the air was blowing through the chamber they knew what was wrong saying the seal wasn’t in it. As I looked I realized that I had not changed the seal. The people there said they would get me one. They took a seal out of a model and I was good to go. They did not charge me anything, everyone there was so helpful and couldn’t have more pleasant to work with. I wish the IHC I use in Orem was as nice and as helpful. I appreciated there help so I could sleep for the next four nights. Thank you IHC in Cedar City, Utah. You all are number one in my opinion.

I rate this one star because first of all i come in to see the doctor the first thing i notice is the nurses and interns are extremely rude and that's all just the start then after trying to get in for my appointment with the doctor i see no doctor i get assigned the Doctors assistant and he sends me over to get an x-ray which i needed because i have a chest condition where one side sticks out a tiny bit more than the other nothing to serious after the radiologist takes a look at the x-rays apparently i have scoliosis that just came out of the blue and its a severe case so i go to Vegas to see a real doctor and professional what do you know i don't have scoliosis and about a week after i see the doctor i get really sick.
