Omg. Where do I start? First of all, after 4 or 5 tries, we finally found a decent healthcare worker. However... #1 was new to this profession. She did stupid stuff, like put very sharp knives mixed in with the utensils and gave my mother a deli sandwich after it had been sitting out in the heat for 4 hours. # 2 took my parents out of state a few times with no permission, and also visited her family on our time. And charged us for it because she took my parents with her. #3 didn't know how to cook basic lunches. Really?? She was nice enough, but we needed her to serve lunches and pre-made dinners. She couldn't even handle that. #4 didn't understand what she was supposed to do, and kept interrupting me at home/work and asking me questions. # #5 was great! Except that she was not dependable, with her or her daughter's health. She missed at least 2 days/month (at 3 days a week). We liked her, so we put up with it. Interim "said" that they were trying to find someone to fill in when she was out, but 95% of the time, I had to interrupt my work and come home from work to take care of my folks. I have a contract with Interim for 3 days/week, 5.5 hours/day for both of them. I feel that they did not uphold their side of the contract. The way the healthcare worker found out about her transfer to another client happened like this: 1 1/2 years ago, she had put in a request with her company to have certain hours. Before I went back to work one afternoon, I had called Interim to find out about another issue, and they told me, on a Friday afternoon, that it was her last day. The worker found out about it THROUGH ME, when I called! Interim had not even had the decency to tell her! I also owe Interim some money, (I had paid most of it off), and instead of sending me bills, I get a threatening phone call, We need the full amount in 8 days, or we're going to stop services. The billing woman is the most inept person I've ever dealt with. No notice, no bills, just threatening phone calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. and if you do, I hope you get better service than I did.
