About Interim HealthCare of Lima

Interim HealthCare of Lima is a home health and hospice provider serving Lima, Ohio. The organization delivers care in patients' homes during serious illness and end-of-life stages.

Families describe sharply divided experiences. Several praised individual nursing staff for attentiveness, compassion, and going beyond routine care, one family noted that nurses "took the time to check on me too" and were present through a mother's final day. Families also highlighted how staff responded with warmth during frightening moments. However, other families reported significant gaps: one described bandage changes that never occurred despite scheduled daily visits, resulting in hospitalization for infection; another noted social workers appeared overworked and rushed during vulnerable family moments. The inconsistency in care quality and reliability emerges as the defining pattern across accounts.

Used their services for my grandfather as he passed and it seems like the social workers are just overworked, truly this is not to insult the workers themselves, but the company. During a hard time in our entire families lives it seemed the sw was doing their absolute best but was rushed

I walked into interim on my lunch break not knowing where to turn. I was so scared and nervous looking for help for my loved one. Two ladies stopped mid lunch break just to talk to me which meant the absolute world to me.Every single person I’ve came into contact with has been an absolute angel. Hospice is a very scary term and knowing we have such amazing support during this time means the world to my family and I. I’ll never forget Sara Smith. She is such an amazing nurse. My family and I will always be greatful for the amazing care you offered my aunt during the end stage of life. Words can’t express my gratitude.

Carol and Kim were my moms nurses. Every week they came and cared for mom. They always took the time to check on me too. Always found an answer to any question. These ladies were there moms last day and I couldn't be happier. The love and care they showed really meant alot. This was a pleasant experience given the circumstances.

They treated my best friend with very little respect. The nurses never changed his bandages. They were supposed to come out everyday but when I called to see what time they were coming they told me he was not on the schedule. He ended up going back to the hospital for an infection. I will never recommend them to anyone. Don't go to them for your or a loved ones health needs find another place.
