I am in toom 203. I paid 10,000 for this place. Now they tell me I do not have full use. I think i should have a rebate.

The entire staff has been fantastic and very professional. They made our family at ease and answered our many questions without delay. Our dad and wife are very happy in their new apartment. They constantly compliment the quality of food and professional staff. We highly recommend this facility. The Muller Family

My mom is a resident here and the staff couldn’t be more helpful and wonderful to her. It’s truly a blessing to find people who treat your family like their own. I’m so grateful and mom is happy, healthy and well cared for.

My mother lived at Ingersoll Place for a little over a year. For the first six to eight months it was okay and then the quality of the care started to go downhill. Ingersoll is a non-profit but that doesn't mean a thing. They overwork their staff and try to have as few nurses on duty as possible. The evening shift that works to 11:00 pm was pushed to stay an hour later. After doing the work of two from 3 to 11, many nurses refused to work an extra hour. As a result, they were put on per diem and moved around routinely. In the end, the residents suffered because they couldn't count on the best nurses being around much. Suddenly, there were new staff they had to get used to and the new people were oftentimes just going about their business acting pretty indifferent toward the residents. Toward the end of my mother's stay there, she had $400 stolen from her wallet and some jewelry also went missing.

For a sobering view of Niscayuna town planning go to the site of the once beautifull Ingersoll home. You will see what clear cutting 150 year old pine trees looks like. Besides a 30 foot buffer of trees on the Linda Road side, EVERY liivng tree and sapling was cut down last week. Nothing taller than a 1/2 inch is left, leaving the mansion starkly alone on the small hill it rests on. This was once the home of the Stanford family, The Stanford University of California famiy. What a terrible waste of beauty and land, set to be a mall soon. We vow as nearby residents to NEVER spend as much as a penny at this site. EVER!
