Huntington Healthcare was such a blessing to our family. Our mother was only there for 6 months (she passed 10 days ago.) The staff is amazing from the kitchen staff to the CNAs , nursing, administration and activity director, and Speech Therapy!Everyone was so kind and thoughtful ! I cannot say enough about this facility , we will miss everyone we have come to know over the last 6 months! Thanks from the bottom of our hearts!! The Family of Sarah Colwell

Went to visit my nana betty for the first time the other day and it was okay ome nurse came in and she was nice to us and my nanaand the second time i went i didn't see any nusrse and i was there fr an hr or or 2 and when we were gettin up giving my nana lovings the maintenance girl came in nd she was like oh nevermind and walked out and my mom said no its okay u can come in and the maintenance girl said well i cant come in when she has visitors in a mean way and had a mean look on her look i understand shes probably tired but that dont give no reason to have that kind of tone with us especially when there an elderly stayin give yall the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ all i ask is to start telling ur workers (speaking from what ive seen) to speak better and treat better its a elderly place

I am a local hospice social worker and frequently refer patients to Huntington Healthcare. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and compassionate experience for residents and their families. Doris, in particular, has been incredibly helpful with every referral I send; she’s attentive, caring, and truly dedicated to providing quality support. I am grateful to have such a dependable facility to recommend, knowing that the residents will receive exceptional care. This facility is clean, prompt to anwser patients needs & very caring on a personal level. I've watched them take great care of multiple loved ones over the years. My aunt resides here now & they do an excellent job caring for her. Always going the extra mile to help her.

My mother recently passed away in this facility. I have received no condolences or sympathy in any way. It is business as usual. In her room, the laptop she coveted was missing within hours of her passing. When I asked about it, they said they would look and get back to me. That was a week ago. I had had no response. During her stay I was lied to and manipulated by the nurse manager to "control' my mom and finally threatened to move my mom out if I did not agree to what she was proposing. The issue at the time was a medical condition that was not being looked at. They were focusing on the behavior, not the cause of the behavior, despite the facts I presented otherwise. The condition went on too long and I believe that effects of the condition led to significant accelerated decline. I admire and respect the people that own this facility and I hope that they are able to educate those caring for the people that have had to make that their home to actually provide care.
