Upon my husband's final visit to his oncologist we were advised to go home & contact Hospice. This was a little frightening because we knew what was ahead. We talked it over and the next day we did call Hospice. We were called upon and my husband was accepted into Hospice care. The next day we received a hospital bed, a bed side table and a bed side commode. Two WONDERFUL nurses came every day to bathe him, give him his meds, visit with me and give me a much needed break. When my husband was near his time they stayed with me throughout the day and I was given several phone numbers to call if I needed them during the night. I did call them on his final night and they were here immediately. The Chaplain made several visits also, giving me some sort of comfort and peace. I can't sing enough praise about Hospice care, it would have been so much more difficult to deal with his final days without them. They were with us for the last nine weeks of his life.

I first became with Hospice in California when my Father was diagnosed with Cancer. My Mum, being a Hospice Home Nurse, felt that she would be able to care for him by herself. When we realized that it was not working without help, we contacted the Anaheim Hospice. As difficult as it was losing someone so close, it would not have been possible without their care. Four years ago, my precious Mother was diagnosed with dementia after suffering with a stroke. We immediately contacted Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix and were so relieved when they once again sent another team who treated our family with kindness, respect and loving care. Since moving to Payson and being a Deacon and Elder in our church, which is mostly seniors, I have been involved with Hospice of Payson. The nurses are so involved, so warm and their involvement makes the families feel as tho their family members are receiving the best possible care and they are. Thank you so much for being there when and where you are needed. Your staff are truly "angels without wings" . We always say that instead of counting their last minutes, you make their last minutes count. Bless you all.

I've taken care of my Grandmother for many years. She's now 94 years old with Alzheimer's . Grandma has failed so much in the last few months. She cant even remember how to walk. We're so fortunate to have found the service and hospitality that Hospice of Payson delivers. Just when you think you can do it alone, sorry, it's not that easy. It is such a blessing when the girls comes walking through our door. They're honestly like true family. The entire staff is so professional and available not only for Grandma's needs, but also my own. Thank you so much Kim, Marilyn, Julie, Allie, Dale, Kim V., Cathy, Nancy, Nova, Joanne and Chaplain Charlie ..
