About Hope Home Care

Hope Home Care provides home health and hospice services in Miamisburg, Ohio. The company delivers nursing assessments, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and end-of-life care in patients' homes.

Families who had positive experiences consistently praise the speed of service initiation and the clinical competence of staff. One family noted that assessments were completed within four days of discharge from a skilled nursing facility. Patients and their families highlight individual caregivers by name and describe the team as experienced, compassionate, and honest about the limits of what they can provide, directing families elsewhere when a need falls outside their scope.

However, reviews surface significant concerns about consistency and responsiveness. A family caring for a parent with dementia reported that Hope Home Care failed to complete required re-certification visits within the insurance window and did not respond to follow-up calls. Another family described an uncomfortable intake interview and a service that lasted only one day. These accounts suggest operational or interpersonal friction that affects some families' experiences.

Hope Home Care holds a 4.3 out of 5 stars across 18 Google reviews, reflecting both strong clinical feedback and serious gaps in follow-through and communication for some patients.

When I interview with this company. The manager made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. My friends family member had their service and needless to say it only lasted a day. Please don't hire this company.

My mom has Dementia progressing into Alzheimer’s. She was with Hope Home Care for 8 weeks but when it was time to re-certify her for insurance purposes they dropped the ball completely and didn’t even try to meet/ talk with her within the allotted time frame. I’ve called twice to get an understanding where the ball was dropped but haven’t heard back since. Leaving me to think they don’t want to help my mother and that they pick and choose who they want to work with? It’s really sad and frustrating to see a loved one neglected like this especially when we need professional eyes on the situation and that additional support. Amber the nurse was beyond Amazing and was so understanding and great with my mom. However, as for administration they are a disappointment and it’s a “No” for me moving forward because they’re unreliable and incompetent at this point. I wouldn’t have made this review had they called back and taken some ownership.

I have been using Hope, for over a year, and I have nothing but positive things to say about them!! My nurse, Devin, is superb, as well as my experience with OT and PT. I would recommend them to anyone needing in home care.

My father was discharged from a skilled nursing facility on Monday and a nurse, PT, and OT assessment were all completed by Friday afternoon! We are very thankful for the experienced staff assessing our father! Bravo on the customer service 👏!!!

I have referred several people to this company and have only received positive feedback from them all. This company works quickly to get care started and when unable to meet a need they are very upfront and honest with that information so that care can be found elsewhere. A very caring and compassionate group of individuals.
