I never wanted my mother to go to a long-term placement but unfortunately she had a stroke and we didn't have a choice. She needed OT PT and speech therapy so I was very limited in the places she could go. She ended up in a truly horrible place before we found Hillcrest. If I had known what a fantastic place Hillcrest was I would have done everything in my power to make sure she went here first. The staff are so compassionate and caring. I have cried in their office recounting the trauma that my mother went through before she got here. They have done everything possible to make me feel secure and to make my mother feel safe. I highly recommend Hillcrest if you have a loved one that needs long-term care. On every level I know that she is being well taken care of.
