So happy we have Hillcrest for my 94 year old mother! She is getting rehabilitation therapy following a very unexpected hip replacement surgery! (after a fall.) We know she is receiving personal and attentive care as well as the encouragement she needs to get back to walking and doing as much as she can on her own. Thank you, Hillcrest for feeling like home away from home:)

My mom spent her last few years. On the Face of this Earth. In the Ridgemont Addison of Hillcrest Home. As close to Heaven!!! As she could be here on earth!!! My Granny Bell, her mom. Was at Hillcrest Home as well, years ago. Where she rectified the finest care as well!!! If you truly care about your aging loved ones??? Get on the waiting list for Hillcrest Home!!! Because they are not a corporate owned Nursing Home!!! Owned and run,by Christans like us!!! My mom was Nelda Rae Barnes. Her mom was Elsie Bell. I am not very good at this. But hopefully I can get this posted for Hillcrest Home, Ridgemont Addison especially!!!

My 95-year-old mother stayed at Hillcrest Home for recovery and rehab after surgery for a broken femur. She was there for six weeks, and I can’t speak highly enough about the compassionate care and medical attention she received. I credit them fully for her speedy recovery. The facility is very clean, well maintained and managed, and the caregivers are outstanding.

The food smells amazing, the place is really clean, and most of the employees are friendly but don’t judge a book by its cover. I could not wait to get my mom into this beautiful facility but I regret my decision to move her only a few weeks later. She went into the facility walking, talking, feeding herself, painting and carrying on conversations with her family to being drugged up/sedated in a wheelchair unable to walk, talk, feed herself and a totally different person because they could not give her the care she required. (And they will blame you for not being more involved and expect you to leave work to come care for them yourself) So if your family member has dementia or Alzheimer’s whatever you do do not place them in the facility unless you want them chemically restrained.

My mother recently stayed at Hillcrest for broken hip therapy and we we're very pleased with the results! Everyone was so respectful and loving not to mention professional! They had her best interest of getting better at heart! Thank you to all the therapists and workers !!
