Been there the first time was in shock. Even though the nurses / nurse aids were friendly to the most part but I get it they are short staffed but you need to have people on call then. Patients can't be suffering cos you employees don't show. 1 nurse aid for a whole hallway you know that is not going to work. Other things I've noticed but I will talk to the head person in charge there today if it doesn't get changed will update my review. People that are already suffering in diff ways you got to take care of them. Sure they get grands or whatever from the state for running this place also, well we will see in the near future. I would not want to be there for sure!

I needed to update my prior review and let the world know my aunt GLORIA COOPER IS NOW GONE! From the negligence at this facility!!!!!! She complained about stomach pain so much and someone made her a concoction up there in that facility (AMBER) and her stomach hasn’t been right since! Then you all send her out to get tested and all y’all came back with is a hernia and here it is months later she dies from sepsis and having an entire hole in her intestines!!!! How the hell wasn’t this detected !? No care at all! I read the reviews and one of them said if you want your family member to die bring them here and I read it to my aunt and here we are she too IS GONE! DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE!

I wanted to take the time and put in a good review for this facility. My mom spent a year here. She passed away on July 5,2023 from small cell lymphoma. My sister and I spent 15 days by her bedside 24/7 for 15 days! After my experiences here, yeah, the facility is old, but these employees really care about these residents! My mom got the best care! I witnessed it! We had 1 bad experience but I now feel it stemmed from stress after being on a hall that was hard to begin with and short staff issues didn't make things better for this particular CNA. The names that stood out during my mom's stay are as follows : Samantha Trish Amber Kadie and Marty Carla April Morgan Pearl Lawanda Molly Frieda Linda Elainey Pam Jennifer Beck Roger Daryl Victoria Monica Both Darrell maintenance Beth and Diane wound care nurses These employees really did go above and beyond for not only making sure my mom was okay, but also made sure my sister and I were okay. A part of my heart stayed in Hazelhurst,GA. I left feeling like these individuals became part of my family. God Bless You All! I'll never forget the compassion, love, and hospitality that you showed our family.

I did a review a couple of weeks ago and clearly it has been erased so although this facility can't properly do their jobs they clearly do know how to erase reviews! My aunt is currently in this facility and the nurses and aides are very rude! I'm so thankful that my aunt is still in her right mind because I can only imagine how the patients are treated who isn't! If you have family here and if you actually care a lil bit about them, just a little bit, remove them from this facility! They like to intimidate the patients and one nurse even let my aunt sit on a soil bed for two hours as she kept calling the nurses station! When the nurse finally arrived she tells my aunt whom is obviously black to wipe her front as she attempted to change her but went on to her roommate and changed her with no issue! My aunt called me and I called them needless to say everyone who answered the phone heard from me but for some mysterious reason not even the head nurse seems to know who this Christina person was who went into Their room.fortunately for us her roomate knows them all by site and by name due to the length of time she's been there! I beg of you if this facility is on your list of places to visit in hopes of finding a genuinely caring place for your love one... THIS NOT THE PLACE!

This place is a joke! I have a family member that was placed there, her first day she had a rude aid, she has a fan for “air”. The place smells… the next day the so called very rude DON Rosie went and questioned as to why she was there, who placed her there and what was her plan for being in a nursing home! For one as a DON you should never ever ask a resident that with an illness or question them that and for two if you are a DON being more proper and formal is the key to communication! She was placed yesterday and will be getting moved asap!!! If you don’t like your job LEAVE! Or go home! Some need their job taken!!!
