After our dad had a fall that resulted in an ER visit and unexpected lung cancer diagnosis that was rapidly effecting his brain and memory, my family knew our dad needed to be placed in an assisted living facility immediately. We knew he specifically needed to be in a memory care unit, and we are so thankful that Harbor Heights was able to take him in so quickly once it became clear that we needed to find a facility as soon as possible. After comparing several options, we chose Harbor Heights because of the amount of staff that spoke Korean and would be able to communicate with our dad, and because the facility seemed to be better run and cleaner than several of the others we considered. Though his stay was ultimately very brief before he passed away, we are so thankful to the staff here for caring for him and helping our family through this extremely difficult and emotional time. Thank you to all the staff who cared for my dad.
