Went in to get my head and back checked out because I hadn’t been able to sleep for the past 4 days due to the INTENSE pain I’ve been in and hadn’t been able to eat for two and a half days, went in hoping that I’d get some sort of pain meds to dull the pain but instead the doctor gave me a prescription for nausea and a uti, I only mentioned the nausea and i figured I’d get something for that, but they just filled me up with fluids and sent me on my way, I’m now back home and in IMMENSE pain once again because they failed to prescribe me what was actually needed. The nurses were the sweetest and so helpful at least.

We were traveling through the area while exploring Nevada. My partner unfortunately, had a nail puncture through his foot while we were out exploring local mine. Thank goodness that we were still in proximity to this emergency room given that things turned very critical quickly. We were a little concerned about what to expect given the hospital’s rural location - but this place was an absolute LIFESAVER!!! The level of care that we received was unbelievable - from the nurses to the housekeeping everyone was on top of things! And the professionalism, compassion and top notch case management he received from Dr William Katschke was amazing! He was incredibly thorough, patient and knowledgeable. He guided us through a very tenuous & stressful situation. These qualities are hard to come by these days - especially in the medical field. After six full days in the hospital, he was able to come home and then continued follow up with Dr. Katschke through the medical clinic. So thankful we were able to happen upon such a great place when we needed care! You won’t find any better place to receive treatment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Please read! A friend of mine, a very sweet, hard-working Hispanic lady, lives in Caliente. She went to the hospital emergency. She’s getting me the doctors name today. A doctor came in asked her where it hurt. She told him. He gave her some medicine, and sent her on her way. She said she looked at her watch and the total was 10 minutes. She received a bill for $8000! Yes, you read $8000!! there were no tests done, no x-rays, no bandages, nothing. She called the hospital to dispute it and they told her too bad. Clearly, this is a case of ripping off a Hispanic lady because they can get away with it. This hospital is garbage and so are the staff. The doctor should be ashamed of himself because he too is garbage, terrible human. I will leave a review for him personally when I get his name later today.
