Our loved one passed peacefully surrounded by friends and family this morning at Mirasol. Though her stay at Mirasol was short (she was on hospice in end stage heart failure), the care that was provided for her was exceptional. The patience of the staff with a high-needs patient was beyond appreciated. The atmosphere was lovely, food always looked amazing, and the staff went above and beyond to help family feel included in her care plan. Our loved one did not make their job easy at times, but the nurses, CNAs, and other staff members did their very best to keep her comfortable and cared for. I would recommend Greenhouse Homes at Mirasol to anyone looking for an exceptional care facility for their loved one. Thank you to everyone at Mirasol from Melba P's friends and family.

Please read if you care about your loved ones. My father spent 1.5 months at The Green House Homes at Mirasol inpatient subacute rehab. The facility itself feels like a home and was only a year or so old in 2022. They have an open kitchen dinning room and living room, which make the common area nice for patient and their families. My Father had spent 75 days in the hospital and I was extremely hopeful and excited for him to move to rehab. The Green House Homes at Mirasol was a huge disappointment. The nurses only follow some orders and note patient refuse certain asks when they do not have the proper paperwork. My Father had a catheter and they only started to clean it each day when I brought it up. My Father had mid metatarsal amputation and they did not check his foot daily until I made it a point. They gave my Father 11 pills twice a day and I had to bring up the fact the he was throwing up because they were giving him to many pills on an empty stomach. I had hoped and thought that a skilled nursing facility would take better care of the patients. My Father had a hard time sleeping due to the noise which made his recovery more challenging. My Dad's room was right next to the living room and when I asked for him to be moved to a quieter room they refused when they had multiple rooms open. When I brought my concerns up to the charge nurse her response was "If you don't like the job we are doing you can move your Dad." The doctors were good at hearing my concerns and talking about different medication options. Travis was very helpful and Pam is a good nurse. During my Dad's stay the main PT changed jobs and my Dad did not receive the daily PT and OT that he needed to be safe once he went home. Maria is a huge unprofessional horrible person for never returning my phone calls. The social workers were open to hearing my concerns but did nothing to help me and change my Fathers care. They are not open to the family being involved in the patients recovery. My Dad tested positive for COVID on December 11th, 2022 and they put him on 10 days of isolation in his room. He caught the CVOID from one of their employees along with another patient. I asked the staff why they weren't taking people temperatures when they came in after an active COVID outbreak and they told me they were following the RCF policy for Colorado state and it doesn't require temperature to be checked. They use and laws and rules to do what fits their needs and not the patients and their families. The food they feed patients is always cold and has no taste. They make hot dogs, pizza, chicken tenders and other options you would see feed to children in a day care. My Dad lost 7 pounds from the hospital to rehab. I had to proactively reach out to the nutritionist and ask for them to give him protein shakes and cottage cheese. He was never given the cottage chese that was added to his meal plan. They said they would offer him cottage cheese along with the protein shakes but never did. My dad went to the ER while he was there for dehydration. You would think they would bring him fresh ice water and monitor his urine output without me asking but they did not. I also had to ask them to offer my Dad a shower a few times a week and change his clothes. Another huge fail on the nursing staff and CNAs. My Dad had third degree burns on his arm that were healing when he arrived and I had to stay on top of the nurses to do their job and do basic stuff like lotion on his arm three times a day. I would never put someone I care about in any of The Green House Homes at Mirasol. They were a huge disappointment and my Father deserved better than they gave him. I picked my Dad up on December 23rd and brought him to my house. Pam never told me that my Dad had the runs for over two days and was wearing a diaper. I didn't realize he had a diaper and the runs until I got him home. 95% of your staff are horrible people who do not care about their patients. Sick and older people need help and NOT what you have to offer. SHAME ON THEM!!

In the last 6 months the care has really declined. The staff quits regularly and temporary help comes in that isnt familiar with anything. The cooks in some units aren't real cooks, the food boarders on commody quality, green beans over and over, with no seasoning. There was two Shabaz (cna) ladies and one nurse per unit. Now there is one Shabaz and 1 nurse between 2 homes. Some residents don't get their pills on time because of staff shortages. I have a long list of more issues but I will not elaborate. Corporate greed should not be more important that caring for the elderly who just have to take it. Mirasol needs to loosen up the purse strings instead of making residents unhappy.

The care that my mother received at the Green House Homes at Mirasol was professional, compassionate, and loving. She was a favorite of the staff with whom she became close. I will be forever Grateful for the loving personal care they provided. I highly recommend the Green House At Mirasol.
